Maybe it´s of use to someone. I have just found that the Apple adapter Thunderbolt 3 to 2 is bidirectional. So I´m usíng a thunderbolt 3 dock in my Macbbok Pro 15" 2015.

HELP, thanks!
For some time now, every once in a while and suddenly, the scrolling of Finder's windows, Safari, etc. stops working with both the Magic Mouse and the Magic Trackpad.
So, in System Settings -> Bluetooth, all devices appear disconnected; the Mouse and Trackpad's cursor, however, continues to work and the Magic Keyboard also allows typing, even though it too appears disconnected.
At the same time as the above, the iMac's fan is running at maximum, and if I open Activity Monitor I see that the "bluetoothd" module is committing almost the entire CPU and power consumption.
The problem appeared with OCLP 1.6.0 Nightly, but it occurs even after going back to OCLP 1.5.0 official, including its Post Install Patch..
Perhaps this has already been discussed in the Forum, but I cannot find the solution.
Thanks for the help

Have you tried "forgetting" the devices using sys settings > bluetooth and reconnecting them? When reconnected check the mouse settings, enable right click etc

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch(10,1).
I am thinking to upgrade from Catalina to Sonoma.
If you install Sonoma, I wonder if there is no big problem and what the performance is like.

First time updating to a pre-release build because I'm impatient.

undo root patch, macOS 14.6 -> 14.7rc (23H122) via OTA, normal reboot (not safe mode), do root patch, approve OCLP kext in security & privacy, reboot. No problem so far. OCLP 1.4.2, MBP 11.2 (Intel gfx)

FYI: Update done to 23H122 using latest 1.6.0n and standalone installer. Installation and patching was only possible using safe mode. Everything is up and running. No noticeable improvements or issues.
Do you have any Apple purchased movies?.. Try to play some...

A few people on here use that very model with both Sonoma and Sequoia with good results. Including yours truly.
Expectations and usage of speciality apps is individual but all the Apple stuff works as it should and all info needed is in this thread if you search. Backups are always a good idea. Good luck.

I have just upgraded my MacBook Pro 2017 14,3 from Ventura to Sonoma 14.6 via OCLP 16n using a USB pen drive.
Everything ok but no Touch Bar working. Repeating the fresh installation to 14.7 I have same result.
I don't find the 'TouchBarServer' in Activity Monitor

Install latest supportet macOS first, then update via OCLP touchbar will work!

Resurrecting an old post ...Did you ever get your WD SN740 to work without crashing? I need an M.2 2230 NVMe SSD and am looking at the SN 740 as a candidate. Thank you.
No. I replaced my cheap PCIe card with an OWC NVMe PCIe card and thought it fixed the problem... but I was wrong and it started happening again. I solved the problem for real by throwing away my SN740 and buying a SN730. Absolutely no issue with SN730, there is definitely a critical difference between the SN740 and SN730, despite people insisting they're basically the same. I recommend avoiding the SN740 and buying a used SN730 on eBay.

Just installed Sonoma on my iMac 27 Late 2012, all works but why do I see Beta Updates in the softwareupdate settings? It lists sequoia Beta, and Safari Beta. Beta Updates are turned off.

No issues whatsoever. Neither with purchased titles or TV+ streaming.
Really.. Mine would play about 10 seconds and the picture would go black but audio would continue.. I went back to Monterey..I was told elsewhere it was a DRM issue with OCLP.. streaming movie works fine but I need mine onboard.. Playing the downloaded movie did not work.

I've been using OCLP 2 on my MacBook Pro 11.3". After reinstalled OpenCore and performed the post root patch, noticed that all video playback has turned into a green, pixelated mess—whether it's YouTube, VLC, or even simple video previews. However, after rolling back to OCLP 1.6, the problem has gone away.

You’ll need to change The Hulk setting in your config.plust file from <enabled> to <disabled> 😂
