Anyone using this with an Apple Vision Pro on the latest beta? (VisionOS26) - I've made a separate volume and am having problems connecting to virtual Mac display using standard method from Apple Vision Pro control panel. On my 15.5 sequoia volume I don't have issues connecting to virtual Mac display - MacBook Pro M1 Max 64GB, 8TB SSD

DropBox "unexpectedly quit", restart fails, on Intel Mac including the beta version 226.3.5047 described as working above. Dropbox does not crash on my M1 Max laptop.
did the beta version work on sequoia? do you have a separate volume / computer / hard drive with older OS as backup?

Working:-
Carbon Copy Cloner 7.1.2-b2 (latest beta)
GraphicConverter 12
Skeets
Telegram
Topaz Photo AI 4 (some minor UI issues with progress bars)
Topaz Video AI 7 (some minor UI issues with progress bars)

Unfortunately, Dropbox 227.3.4622 and 226.4.5094 unexpectedly quit on start, and continuously prompt "Restart Dropbox" or "Close" on MacBook Pro M2. I've rejected FileProvider version.

I was able to successfully launch Dropbox beta 227.3.4622, but it failed initially. Make sure to clean all Dropbox files beforehand, in the terminal. It worked instantly for me right after.

rm -rf ~/Dropbox
rm -rf ~/.dropbox
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dropbox
rm -rf ~/Library/DropboxHelperTools
rm -rf /Library/DropboxHelperTools

MacBook Air M1.

AlDente is not working and I've seen on Reddit that people reverting back to Sequoia did not help. Tahoe must have updated something in the SMC. Nothing to do but wait for an update from the dev I guess, but that's fine, part of the beta process.

MBP M1

Can someone add these two items:

1. AlDente 1.33.1, functionally does not work, on MacBook Pro (M4 Pro, 14-inch, 14-core)
2. Sublime Text build 4200 works
Aldente does not work and even if you revert back to Sequoia you will not be able to use it (installation of Tahoe changes smth in the firmware) per github

not working, starting but hands up:
multitouch

Thanks for mentioning the version you are using. The version you are using is beta so I tried installing that too. I deleted the existing Dropbox app:

rm -rf ~/Dropbox
rm -rf ~/.dropbox
rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dropbox
rm -rf ~/Library/DropboxHelperTools
rm -rf /Library/DropboxHelperTools

And downloaded the offline beta installer from here:

The installer did crash a few times initially, but I was eventually able to complete the installation, and that resolved the problem.

This worked for me too, but I did each line as Sudo, so:

Sudo rm -rf ~/Dropbox
Sudo rm -rf ~/.dropbox
Sudo rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dropbox
Sudo rm -rf ~/Library/DropboxHelperTools
Sudo rm -rf /Library/DropboxHelperTools

It doesnt clear all the directories without the elevated permissions sudo gives

Removing ~/Dropbox, etc. directories does not change the result.
However, if I "opt in" the File Provider API, Dropbox 227.3.4622 works.
I presume that the successful reporters use File Provider.
It's appreciated clearly note that whether opt in or out File Provider if you report the result of Dropbox support.

I think finally Apple prohibited the kernel extension approach and start to force to use File Provider API as of Tahoe DB 1.
It has been long-term obsolete. It all started since macOS 12.5. Now macOS is 26, must be huge leap ;)

Cleanshot X is working; however, there is a glitch in the annotation window where you are unable to change the tool. Example: I am unable to choose the box tool and am stuck using the circle tool. I did report this to their dev team despite it being extremely early feedback.

No - CCC is not working for making clones. It is working for BackUps - BUT not for clones. See my Post #38 on Page two of this thread. I have been in contact with bombich, and they are aware of the issue.

BTW, the latest beta is 7.1.2-b3.

How did you get the CCC 7 beta? I have inform me of beta releases on but it never does, just says I'm up to date.

Yup, was a software issue that has been fixed - Try it again 👍
