Since Beta 5 Big Sur, massive problems with Safari & Flash Sites, Flash Plugin not load :-(

Parallels v16 is working on Beta 4 Big Sur but not Working in Beta 5 Big Sur

Can't login. Enter password, it spins a circle like it's doing something and then acts like nothing happened. I thought it's because I was using NoMad before this, but this happens after a full disk wipe.

I’m having this same issue. Wish I would have checked this forum before I went from Beta 4 -> 5. It was working nearly perfect for me including Parallels. Also fixed an audio issue I have had on Catalina the whole time where my external speakers do not work at all with my USB-C LG external display.

So now I’m apparently stuck in a boot loop. Anybody have a fix for this?

The Flash plugin is not supported anymore in Safari 14. Chrome and Firefox will remove it too in 6 months. It won't be back.

what do I do in the future with the music pages that require that? I am already unable to promote music on various sites and that is very bad as a DJ

I don't know if this is a bug with Youtube or Safari, but for some reason YouTube videos always play at 360p. Internet isn't an issue, I'm getting over 80mbps

I actually think it's a Safari bug because I don't have this issue in Microsoft Edge.

Since Beta 4, MBP16 has been very slow to boot to logo from cold, still is. Don't think there was a bridgeOS update here.
I’m seeing that, too, with 2018 MBP. I did a fresh install (wiping out the internal disk) with beta 5, but the delay persists.

Thought the MacBook going to sleep issue was fixed, was working after installing PB2, then the next day it's not going into sleep mode anymore.

After installing beta 4 my was unable to wake from sleep, I had to press the power button many times instead it just rebooted,
yesterday I tried to install beta 5 but the download was slow but before it started to download, it first downloaded a 1.9MB I don't know exactly what then started downloading beta 5 7.15GB

after canceling, my MacBook now gracefully wakes up from sleep no issues like before.
I am still on beta 4 so I don't know if it is that 1.9MB download that magically fixed the problem

Yes I have the same problem. Parallels V16 working with beta 4 but killed with beta 5. It looks like a Kernal Panic. Parallels Desktop starts but as soon as you start Windows 10 the mac shuts down. When the Mac restarts the report to Apple states Kernal Panic. I might use TM to go back to Beta 4.

Seeing this issue as well. Once I manually select a higher quality, things straighten out.

I'm curious why it takes longer for my 2018 15" MB Pro to turn on when I open it. Under Catalina, I would open it and within a second or two, Apple logo and it's on its way. In Big Sur, I open it, takes up to 7 seconds for it to make the boot chime and begin loading. Just weird.

It's a bug in the BridgeOS for the T2 chip that got updated with Big Sur. Many have already reported this and hopefully this will get fixed in the upcoming betas or probably the stable version.

How else are they going to get you to upgrade to the arm macs. 😂.

Look at this thread someone said, switching from Parallele Hypervisor to Apple fixed the problem but somebody did that and said it seems to slow when you do that

Can anyone running Beta 5 confirm whether recording an iOS screen via quicktime is working? This was working for me in the previous Beta but I cannot get my MBP to recognize either my iPhone or iPad. I'm not sure if its the OS or perhaps some other software conflict.

Record iOS screen via Quicktime

My Mac Pro 7,1 and Macbook Pro 16 got sleep/wake problem in beta 5. When device woke up from sleep, the machine go 100% fan and then got stucked with black screen. I must restarted from holding the power button to turn off. Does anyone have the same experience?
