The server is overloaded apparently, takes a while to recover. They probably did a cold restart to recover the servers
I'm not sure that's the issue. I am having problems installing. But you may be right. It's all an Easter egg hunt now. Nobody knows what the problem is.

The strange thing is my other machine (iMac) that was running the beta RC2, was able to download the latest build (that changed by 1 number) and install. But my MacBook Pro that has been on Catalina (never running the beta) keeps getting an error. I had to force enroll / unenroll from the command line on my iMac.

I posted the direct link which is down now but because of the URL it is still awaiting moderator approval.
But after installing Big Sur even the Final Cut Pro app update failed to install had to retry it 3 times before it installed.

I too am getting the "Installation Failed' msg with "An error occurred while installing the selected updates"

Does anyone have a fix?

The only option is to upload the downloaded pkg file but since the moderators are still not even approving me pasting the direct link from Apple that is down I doubt they will approve a OneDrive/MEGA/etc link

Yep, servers can't keep up.

Just spoke with Apple. They say they're aware that although the System Status page says it's fixed, that it's not. They're working on it. Oh, good.
