Yes I have the same problem. Also I have some problem with the display of some files that before worked ok

Adobe CC 2017 (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) seem to be really laggy on B3. Anyone else experience this? Is there an Adobe Beta Channel like Microsoft with current fixes?

Both Parallels and VMWare fusion aren’t working with my Boot camp Windows installation. Running first aid in disk utility is also still broken.

I still cannot update the first post of this thread.

Works:
- Affinity Designer
- Amphetamine
- Traktor Pro 2
- Alfred 3
- Tunnelblick (3.7.1b)
- Battery Health 3

Works not:
- Sparkle (actually runs but upon closing the app the whole Mac gets stuck and needs a hard reboot)

You have to authorize Tweetbot before it can connect to your twitter account. Look in Tweetbot > Preferences. You might need to remove the account then add back. There is reset account cache, but I'm guessing you just need to authorize.

Anyone having problems importing pictures into Aperture after updating to PB2? Aperture appeared to work fine with PB1 as I'd imported about 150 shots I'd taken on a trip last week, but when I came to import some shots yesterday, some RAW files showed as unrecongised files, some failed to rotate, and then the colour profile was off on others. Same Canon 5D Mk2, although I was using a 24-105 rather than a 70-200 the week before. Ended up importing just the JPG files, which worked fine after coping to a local folder on the HDD first.

Yes, I know I need to move away from Aperture, but it does just what I want in the way I've got used to doing it :D

Sadly, yes - you're actually getting further along than I am. Upon trying to import from my Nikon D7100's card with DP3/PB2 (17A306f), the thumbnails show briefly, before being erased within a second or so, along with most of the UI in the right pane, and the toolbar. If I catch the input field for the project name quickly enough and try importing anyway, I just get an error dialog saying that all the photos failed to import.

I suppose I can use Photos on a temporary basis. Given things were functioning well previously, hopefully submitting feedback to Apple will bring about the requisite bugfixes.

Me on with Photos so I hold my breath and it will be fixed, but what I did I copy the the files onto the HD then drag the folder into Aperture and it works like a charm, something happens during preview a bug

Feedback sent to Apple. Hope it's something that's fixed before the GM as I'm still not really ready to move away from Aperture, and having played with Photos in the PB that still not a great solution.

I really need to move across to Lightroom, but everytime I try it just seems such a lot of work, and I end up putting it in the too difficult/time consuming pile :D

ZOMG! That works perfectly. ^_^ Thank you! That's an easy workaround. Hopefully the bug(s) involved will be fixed regardless, but I can happily live with drag & drop and manually renaming the resulting project.

I'm with you there. ^_^; I'm not really big on Adobe's UIs, Lightroom included, whilst Aperture does what I need, and well. (With very occasional bouncing out to DxO Optics Pro for lens correction, or Neat Image for complex noise reduction)

Personally, I'm hoping Serif's (Affinity) photography DAM will turn out to be Aperture's true successor. I should drop them a line and try to find out what kind of timescale the project has - I'd definitely be interested in participating in a beta, if they hold one.

Yes, as of July 22, 2017, Time Machine backups will not work if you upgraded to APFS when you installed High Sierra. There isn't exactly a fix for it, other than restoring your Mac and then re-installing High Sierra on a CLEAN INSTALL, and NOT UPGRADING TO APFS WHEN YOU INSTALL 10.13. Also make sure your Time Machine drive is formatted using HFS+

I didn't see the edit button on the very first post of this thread, so I'll just say my additions to the list here.

DOES WORK:
- HP Easy Scan (I have a HP OfficeJet 4650 printer)
- HP Utility
- MCEdit 2
- Minecraft
- Photo Date Changer by publicspace.net
- A Better Finder Attributes 6 by publicspace.net
- Loopback by Rogue Amoeba
- Audio Hijack by Rogue Amoeba
- Audacity audio editing software
- Webroot Secure Anywhere

DOES NOT WORK:
- GarageBand crashes when you open it
- LEGO Mindstorms EV3 opens and then immediately closes
- Beyond Compare 4 opens and then immediately closes
- Eclipse IDE for Java Programming on Mac opens and then immediately closes

Did you upgrade to APFS?? Because I did have APFS, and I also could not get disk utility to run a complete first aid on Macintosh HD.
yes, I did. On both computers, it seems that disk utility was not ready to support AFPS. I did manage to get it to complete on the latest beta (dev3) by booting into recovery (and it found no errors)...
