Adobe Reader is not working. Is there any PDF reader program that will work when opening PDF docs from Safari?

Forgive me if this has already been raised - Since updating to the latest Public Beta of High Sierra, I'm getting no audio from my TV speakers when my MacBook is connected via HDMI.

Previously, on Sierra, I had no issues whatsoever. Anyone else experiencing or solved this?

I installed the third public beta and deleting files doesn't free up space. Ive looked around and found a lot of people having the same issue. Anyone found a solution?

Facing an issue with Bear latest version. Is this what others are experiencing under 10.13? My editor is always black, colors only change on the notes pane and sidebar. Works perfectly on iOS.

5.2.7 (1025)

BTW, I tested on an external boot drive, which was a clone of my main boot drive from June which I then updated to the High Sierra beta. I wouldn't test on my primary working boot drive.

Ok cool. Sorry should have mentioned that I would be partitioning my drive to install. But if I can't use that one function, then I wouldn't spend time in the OS to test

Can't edit wiki so have to post it here, someone please add it thanks

I noted my free space disappearing after installing Dev Beta 4 (which is the same as PB3). I found it to be due to a hidden folder called Cores which contained multiple dump files generated whenever a crash occurred. Each one was circa 1.7-1.9GB in size. These are useful for giving to developers to investigate but otherwise can be removed.
Might be the culprit rather than file deletion not freeing up space. YMMV.

Where is this Cores folder? root?

EDIT

Found it in root. It was empty in my case. :p

How are you guys getting discord to work? Whenever I try and use the app I get no sound output.

It doesn't crash anymore, but there's a bug when you save a project...the field entry stays empty while you type the name. Once its saved, you see the name you typed in but coulnd't see while typing. Minor bug, but when I do save, it seems to mess with my audio interface driver. it suddenly creates a 2-3 sec lag on my input. Unusable for me, but Im using a tascam which isn't officially supported, so....

edit: oops, should be a reply to the Logic Pro question...

Quick question for Softraid users: did an upgrade to PB3 made Softraid usable? Their support forum seems to suggest their drivers ought to work with High Sierra, except APFS support. My last attempt to use Softraid on PB1 not only gave me an unstable Mac (and kernel panic), it somehow downgraded the Softraid driver to 5.5 from 5.6.

Google Backup and Sync does not work on APFS disks. Google Drive does not work either - we get a prompt saying the version is outdated.
[doublepost=1501961941][/doublepost]Another one to the Not working list - Symantec End Point client 12.x does not work on APFS disks.

My Disk Utility doesn't show the scheme option while erasing pen drives in beta 4. Is there a workaround for this as i need GUID Partition Map for my pen drive for unibeast installation.

Anyone using Spideroak? Wondering if this works before I give it a go.

Edit. DOH! Blog on Spideroak says not compatible yet.

I've tested out the Softraid myself with PB3. Weird downgrade in driver still occurs with all the error messages Softraid generate just from a single APFS drive. At any rate, the key problem still remains to be unsolved; once a thunderbolt HDD enclosure is connected, a kernel panic pops. (Tested on 2014 Mac mini)

Another software I've found to be incompatible was Movist, the video player. It has a purple filter-like behavior only on High Sierra and all the colors (even if it's not purpled out) are messed up. You can use the automatic color controls filter to have it adjusted as a temp fix.
