Anyone else still having problems with iCloud Photos? I've tried signing out of iCloud and back in, but it's still stuck at "Updating 12,481 items..." and only a handful of thumbnails actually download. When I try to open one of the thumbnails, it throws an "Error Downloading Photo"... Frustrating... I would have hoped these issues would be sorted out by now...

EndNote doesn't work (crashes, can't navigate pdfs, can't upload references several other issues)
boot camp (doesn'tr ecognize legitimate copies of windows and therefore won't partition)

Contrary to what is written on page one, Rapidweaver 7 only works correctly with HFS. If you use APFS the preview page refreshes constantly. I believe a workaround is being planned. Apart from Rapidweaver all my apps appear to be working better than ever.

Updating and syncs are fine (4 Macs all on iCloud library) but with build 17A362a my Projects are gone. If I copy the content of the iPhoto library (resources>projects) and start Photos again the projects are immediately deleted.
3 Macs have the same problem. Mac Pro is still on beta 8 build 17a330h and the projects are still there in beta 8..
I did not notice this on beta 9 on the other Macs. All volumes are apfs/encrypted. Except the (working) Mac Pro.

Do you have a Fusion Drive formatted to APFS? Apparently there are still issues with that, so that could be my problem anyway. I'm going to have to reformat my iMac's Fusion Drive to HFS+ again and restore from Time Machine before I can test the GM, as they're preventing installation on Fusion Drives formatted to APFS...

yep, ssd, converted to apfs. FCPX was really cranky in an earlier beta, but seems ok now; but have only used it a little last few weeks...

Everything else working out alright? The basics like photos, iTunes, iMessages, syncing music to your iPhone etc?

here, it's been a pretty-good experience overall (the betas); not perfect, but... they're betas. and in the present moment, all seems well. honestly, tho, as the forum shows, not everyone has the same experience. am just sharing mine...

I just started the install but realized I forgot to place my photos library on my Internal so that it gets converted easily. Will an external photo library effect initial conversion / updates to the newer update / file system ?
