The Epson All-in-One printer Fax Receive Monitor cannot connect to the WF-3640 to pick up received faxes. The Monitor app itself boots up--just won't connect to the printer. If I boot up a 10.13 beta HD with HFS, it also doesn't work, so it doesn't appear to be an APFS issue in seeing directories. If I boot up a HD with 10.12.6 it works fine, and there is no problem with the wifi connection, per se, because otherwise the communication between the MacBook Pro and the WF-3640 is fine (printing, faxing, ink levels etc.) I've even tried substituting some of the system library files (with SIP disabled) from 10.12.6 on which the FRM depends, but no luck. It only made my MBP unbootable, and I had to reinstall the 10.13 beta from the Recovery module. I'll upload a couple of Activity Monitor Sample files for both the 10.12.6 and 10.13 Fax Receive Monitors, in case anyone who understands this stuff wants to see if they can figure out the difference.
