Office 14.7.6 is now out. But Microsoft has issued this:

Office for Mac 2011

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Lync have not been tested on macOS 10.13 High Sierra, and no formal support for this configuration will be provided.

All applications in the Office for Mac 2011 suite are reaching end of support on October 10th, 2017. As a reminder, after that date there will be no new security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support options or technical content updates. Refer to the Microsoft Support Lifecycle for more information.

Does anyone have problemas with Adobe Lightroom CC? I try to open it and it crashes, I've tried to uninstall and install again and still the same problem. I've tried and if I turn on my MBP with the shift key pressed the Lightroom works with no problems. Does anyone have a solution? Turning off and on the MBP every time I want to use Lightroom is a bit annoying.

I have the Backup and sync google drive, and if I try to put a new folder to sync it says "please select a folder on HFS+ that is not mounted over a network" does anyone knows how to solve this?

Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC with the apfs working fine here, use it most everyday - 2016 Macbook Pro with touchbar - Not using Google drive at all so no help there.

I saw this on 9to5... argh... I don't use office enough to justify paying $100 a year for it. I'm getting tired of the month subscription based model. Everything seems to be moving towards this. I'm not a developer but why would it not work?
It will work just fine, it just won't get any more updates. So my post above, #408

From a post I made in June:

I paid $56.99 for the Home and Business edition. Thought that was a GREAT deal. It's legitimate, the license goes to Microsoft and you can download directly from Microsoft. However I chose to download the program first and apply the license once installed. I bought my license here:

https://retinaelectronics.com/products/office-2016-for-mac-home-business/QUOTE]

Price seems to be up to $69.99 now, but it's a one time fee, not a yearly subscription fee.

I figure this is as good a place to post this as any.
Waited and waited for the public beta to show up, it finally did and said it was public beta 8 (not 9) but I said to go ahead anyway. When all was said and done and installed, it says it installed the DEVELOPER beta 9. Version installed was 17A360a which as far as I can tell corresponds to the developer beta.
Anybody else have this happen to them?

^^^^Actually I don't know. I have a cMP and an MBA. I haven't tried it, but I have a feeling it won't. I have a license for 2 Macs for Office 2011, and up un till a year or so ago, licenses issues were a nightmare with Microsoft. Every time I would initialize a new disk and erase one, I had to jump through hoops to get Office 2011 to accept my code.

So Duet Display has a beta available that's compatible with 10.13 if you shoot them an email requesting it, but it's a massive memory hog. After 15 minutes of using it, it ate up about 11gb/16gb of RAM which is insane.

The last few public betas have all been like that. Apps Store offers you PB version x. You update and, surprise, it says you have DB version x+1.
[doublepost=1504493735][/doublepost]Any XtraFinder fans? There is a new version 0.27. Installs and, for me, partially works.
Working: Context menu items.
Not working: Tabs, Toolbar customisation and pretty much anything on the Finder window.
Anyone confirm?

The Epson All-in-One printer Fax Receive Monitor cannot connect to the WF-3640 to pick up received faxes. The Monitor app itself boots up--just won't connect to the printer. If I boot up a 10.13 beta HD with HFS, it also doesn't work, so it doesn't appear to be an APFS issue in seeing directories. If I boot up a HD with 10.12.6 it works fine, and there is no problem with the wifi connection, per se, because otherwise the communication between the MacBook Pro and the WF-3640 is fine (printing, faxing, ink levels etc.) I've even tried substituting some of the system library files (with SIP disabled) from 10.12.6 on which the FRM depends, but no luck. It only made my MBP unbootable, and I had to reinstall the 10.13 beta from the Recovery module. I'll upload a couple of Activity Monitor Sample files for both the 10.12.6 and 10.13 Fax Receive Monitors, in case anyone who understands this stuff wants to see if they can figure out the difference.

Has anyone tested if Maya works or not?

I asked the same question not long ago, but not seen any concrete information. A couple months ago I read that the installer for Maya automatically looks for HFS and won't install unless it's found, so Autodesk may have to upgrade this. It's possible it may work OK if already installed.

Papers 3 allows for viewing and importing, but crashes when trying to edit metadata (inserting authors, DOI, page #, etc.)

Can you give me an update whether it works on the latest beta (9)? Its' pretty much the only thing stopping me from updating.
