Okay, I moved out of my old apartment and into my new one. Let the photos begin

That poster is entirely made up of references to things that have happened, discussed, or stolen (phonebooks mostly... my roomates took 300 phone books and used them to prop up all the furniture)

Thats an awesome looking house. Just out of curiosity, what city is that in? Looks like Philly or something.

I seriously hope you appreciate that. If I were your dad and I ever found a scratch in that place, I'd have your head. :)
Very much so. :)
Granted, it's a 5-bedroom house... so after we get some other renters in the last 2 rooms for a while, he'll probably break even on the cost, and maybe even make a little profit. But he spent a ton of time working on it.

I'm spoiled

I feel like I'm polluting all these threads, because I want to play with my new camera.

Setup hasn't changed much since last time, but has now been taken with a Sony DSC-N2.

ClayJ... makes me VERY JEALOUS!

Why?
Would it be because he flaunts his personal wealth on web forums?
I guarantee you there are people on this forum much wealthier then him, some of us are just more "discreet".

Dude the thread is called "MacRumor's Crib's Vol. 1", what do you think that means? That people should post photos of a garden shed?

Or is there a line that defines how much stuff people can have before they are not allowed to post photos?

^^^ I grew up with a military dad. I lived at Camp Pendleton for three years a while back. While it's definitely not a path I would want to take, I've atleast been raised to appreciate and respect those of you who fight for our freedoms.

Thanks. :)

I hope your home's crib is a bit nicer than that Baghdad one. :p

cool. interesting to see what life is like for you there. i didn't realize you get a desk, tv, etc. i see you even brought what seems to be a little ipod sound dock. ?s tho. how do they get internet to you guys in an area w/ such limited infrastructure. i kind of take the internet i plug into for granted.

I've got it better than most. My normal Baghdad place is somewhat better than the troops who are in the field everyday. I have one half of a converted cargo container. The cot is more typical of what most live with every day in the field and I'm very lucky to have what I have!

The TV hasn't worked in about 3 months, but it was nice luxury while it lasted. I did bring my iPod and my iBook and they provide my fun and communication!

I'd have insomnia too if i were being shot at all day.

Take care of yourself, looking forward to snaps of your primary domicile!
