Yeah, as I said above, that's my Father-in-Law, who is in the RCMP. That is the reason their family has been living here in Regina, since the main headquarters is here and he's the Head Firearms Trainer for all the recruits.

Cool. I have had a few relatives who were Mounties. It's an honorable profession.

Further to that, the Chapel where we were married was the RCMP Chapel, on the base. It is actually the oldest building in all of Regina, and is simply beautiful.

Okay, that answered my next question. It looked, well, old and really cool.

Great pics, ~Shard~. Fantastic, actually.

many happy years to you both. :)

Yup, that's my favourite too. (1_CRW_6774). You both look really happy and relaxed in that one. Great photos, thanks ~Shard~.

Yes, indeed. This year was an especially important year for my Father-in-Law, as 4 Mounties were slain in an ambush several months ago - all officers which he trained at one point, one as recently as a couple months prior to his death. It was the largest single loss of life for the Force in quite some time, so the annual RCMP Memorial Parade they hold in September had an extra impact this year.

Thanks Squire - yes, the venue turned out great, it provided our ceremony with an amazing atmosphere. :)

Yeah, our photographer was excellent, and set up some really great shots for the 2 of us. Pam isn't always as "natural" and relaxed when it comes to being in front of the camera either, and I think he helped a lot in getting some great pictures out of her. ;)

Thanks gekko513. :)

Looking forward to it.

(Will your wife be shirtless, too  )

I don't know if there will be any of my wife (I keep those for the private collection  ;)) but there have been a few floating around this and other threads of me at least, if that will tide you over... :p ;)

And a final comment for now, for those of you who may not have figured it out yet: My name is Scott Anderson. My wife is Pam. So yes, I can truthfully say that I am married to Pamela Anderson. ;)

Cool!! I just Googled your wife's name and saw a lot of photos.

Doesn't she get cold?

Looking at Shard's wedding photos reminds me of looking through a Macy's catalogue. :D

Thanks Daveway! Heh heh - that comment will probably get the attention of Diatribe once he shows up to this thread - and he would be very disappointed, I'm sure, if I didn't take this opportunity to point out that I do indeed do modeling from time to time, so your comment isn't that far-fetched. ;)

PS: Looks very Canadian.

Well with the RCMP Chapel and theme, the red and white everywhere, etc., I should hope so! ;) Unless you were referring specifically to me as looking Canadian, in which case, I don't know what that means... ;)

Thanks again. :)

~Shard~ - your pictures are beautiful, great job, and a beautiful woman too, best of wishes as always.

here are two pictures of me dancing at the wedding i was at last night, enjoy:

I think this is the first time I've seen a pic of you in which you have a shirt on!
Looks very fun. :)

and ~Shard~, those pics are beautiful. I hope you take lots of pics at all your anniversary parties. You two look so happy. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! :)

Great pictures Shard, I'm glad you finally found the time and a method for sharing them, and thanks for being willing to do so. They all look great, an amazing day I'm sure. I love the settings of the photos too, they are quite unique and look great!

In image A_IMG_4287 (second on yahoo) is that an Order of the Engineer ring on your right hand small finger? I suppose you could answer with your hand-dominance too, but just curious.

MG_4227 is a straight-up model shot, I'm comfortable enough to say you are quite the hot man!

Not sure who this is, but in MG_4314 I find it humorous that he is wearing a white graphic-T at a wedding, made me chuckle.

MG_4381 is a great shot encompassing everything, wonderful for the memories.

IMG_6859, hilarious! Near full-hand grope of the arse :D

1_CRW_6774, probably one of my favorites just because you both look so comfortable and relaxed and in love.

Looks like an amazing and wonderful day, thank you so much for sharing!

Great pictures Shard, such a cute couple :).

Seeing pics of you dancing, PlaceofDis makes me want to bring my camera next time I go clubbing :p.

Thanks a lot PlaceofDis, I appreciate the well wishes. And nice pics of yourself as well. So at what point of the evening did the shirt come off? :p ;)

Absolutely, no problem - as I've said many times before, I think this is an excellent community, and is hands-down the best Forum I've ever been a part of, so I have no problems whatsoever in sharing such things.

Yep, you're right - how very observant and astute of you! It is indeed my Iron Ring which I received when I obtained my degree in Electronics Systems Engineering (and a Minor in Computer Science I might add!). I am also now a Professional Engineer, which here in Canada is considered a professional designation, like lawyers, doctors, etc. - so I can sign passports and the whole thing! It's pretty cool.

Thanks. ;) Yeah, the photographer managed to get quite a few good shots of me on my own, which I appreciated - I wasn't really expecting it, (since that wasn't the point of the photos and all!), but it was really nice.

Heh heh - yeah, that's my cousin Adam. He really wanted to attend the ceremony and reception, but got called into work. So, he tried really hard, worked some magic, and was able to show up for the ceremony, albeit straight from work. ;) He rushed off right afterwards too and wasn't able to make the reception, but we really appreciated his effort. :)

Yep, we planned that one from the start - we knew it would turn out amazing and be an excellent keepsake. One of the many benefits of having a smaller wedding as well, we could organize a big group picture like that without too much hassle.

You hit the nail on the head there iBlue - we are truly best friends, no word of a lie - I think that's so important. And yes, that one in the park is one of my favs as well.

i had a feeling :) you can tell she is not fond of the camera but you can just sense that there is a profound bond between you two, hard to explain but very cool. i tend to freeze at the sight of a camera and i turn out looking rather "put out" by it - so i guess i can say i understand; i can look past all that.
she has a really adorable smile! you're both a couple of hotties, it's almost sickening... if it were not so charming. :p congratulations once again. :)

Nice pictures. You have quite an intense look especially in the picture to the right. It looks like you're really focused on the girl (looks like you're going to prey on her or something ;) ) or maybe it's just that you're really focused on dancing?

Thanks for the kind words iBlue. Yes, we do have a great connection - one of those "meant to be" things I guess. And yes, I must admit, we're both a couple of hotties. :p ;)

I can only second the previous post. Great pictures, congrats! All the best for you in the future!

ah yeah, i was dancing with my sister there, she has taken classes for about 18 years so im not quite as good of a dancer as she is, but we were swing dancing in the pictures, and i love to swing dance, so i was pretty focused on that, i need to to find a swing club aourd here (the dancing kind)

You should be able to view the album by clicking here. Please let me know what you think of them all, and as I get the full quality, "post-production" shots of our favorites, I'll post them individually, specifically for the Photo Directory - how does that sound?

And I'll be more than happy to tell stories, explain photos, whatever you like. Can't wait to hear your comments!
Very nice!

Again, best to you as you begin your new adventure together.
