I just ordered through Best Buy. It will be here Friday. Tired of Apple screwing me around. Still keeping the Apple order will return if it ever comes
Mine was like that as well.. Sat in Kentucky until around 4 this morning, then to Pittsburgh and then my home here in Ohio. I didn’t think it would ever leave Kentucky lol
As soon as I get paid Friday I’m ordering through Best Buy. This is garbage.
Ordered through Bestbuy on 4/21/20. Got it the next day (4/22/20), also got free overnight shipping too. The experience is amazing everything I want in a keyboard, this is something I envisioned when I was in college it’s amazing
Probably the last time I ever order directly through Apple. They screwed this up for me big time. Doesn’t help that my iPhone 11 Pro Max just up and stopped working out of nowhere a week ago...
I hope mine is on the UPS flight leaving Louisville for Orlando at 3:58 am and landing at 5:45 am. My iPad ended up on that same flight and made it into my hands the next morning.
Just to give another data point for Best Buy; I placed an order for the 12.9" keyboard early Monday afternoon with a delivery date of today (Wednesday), and although I received a shipping notification email from Best Buy yesterday evening, both OnTrac and Best Buy's website are still showing that OnTrac has yet to receive the item and do not show an ETA for delivery.
Mine went form Thurs —> Friday when the status changed from “label created“ —> “FedEx received your package“ soooooooo disappointing
Best Buy order 12.9” update. I placed order yesterday around 12:30pm for Thursday 23rd delivery got shipping notification yesterday. Just origin scan 8:09PM Maumee OH. No delivery date schedule yet.
I’m honestly resigning myself to the fact Apple is going to screw this up so badly I won’t see it until 5/1 at the earliest. This is ridiculous.
Yeah, I keep expecting to see Apple move it to shipped but it doesn't happen, it's weird since I ordered it like 15-20 minutes max after it launched on the 15th.
You definitely have a right to be more annoyed about this than i am, but really we should all be annoyed. Especially if some people with 4/27-5/4 estimates are seeing movement and anyone BEFORE continues to be in PTS limbo.
Yes that’s what gets me is people who have a later delivery date already getting shipping notices.
I feel like the shafted one in the bunch... I ordered on 4/15 @ 11:13am EST and got a Apt 27 - May 4 delivery for a 12.9. No movement. CC is still not charged. Confirmed w/ Apple the order went through...
Yikes. That’s not right. They really screwed this up.
The only thing I can really think of (though unlikely) is maybe Apple is sending massive boxes of the keyboards to different depots where they get split apart and sent to individual people, and something went wrong which is delaying everyone who happens to be in these boxes.
My biggest issue with it is they put it in a state where you can't cancel and they charged your card but won't help you, saying oh your window is April 24 to May 1 there's still time, even though they advertise that they'll only charge you when it shipped yet it's been over 48 hours since they charged the card and it hasn't shipped.
This is exactly my biggest problem. I do not have a spare $370 to just go buy it elsewhere because Apple dropped the ball on releasing their own product. It’s a shame when a 3rd party can handle a product launch better than the manufacturer. I do get paid Friday so if they continue to drag their feet I will order Best Buy and I guess wait until Monday. This has been one of the worst launches ever, and I’ve been through the “we actually didn’t release them on time oops” iPhone 7 Plus launch.
