I got my MagSafe battery in today! I am very impressed with the build quality given the $30 price point (feels just as solid as much more expensive batteries) - I love that it recharges over USB-C. The magnetic side is a super soft rubber and feels even less likely to damage the iPhone than the MagSafe puck snapping to it.

My first test went from 35 percent to 66 percent in 30 minutes; so roughly 1 percent a minute - need to do some tests to compare to the regular MagSafe puck, but pretty impressed so far! That is the 12 mini for size references.
Can you charge your phone via the pack while the pack itself is plugged into USB-C charging? If so, this might work as a USB-C travel charger / battery pack which is what I'm looking for.

Received my one over the weekend, from https://maggsafe.com/ got delivered within 3 days. The quality and build is really good in my opinion. The charging via MagSafe is not as fast as connecting it directly with a cable, but the size sold it for me and probably the smallest currently in the market.
Apparently it only charges 5W via magsafe, but that’s good for less heat. The size is very nice.

I‘m beginning to wonder if Apple has any plans for a MagSafe battery. From memory their prior year battery cases were out each year by now. And so far not even a hint of one

I went to order but they charge 25 pounds shipping to US. Made the overall cost over $100. Not ready to pull the trigger at that price.

Absolutely love that battery pack but $100 USD is really steep. It's $63 for the battery and $34 for shipping.

Well I gave up on the other when I found out it was only 5W. Ordered this one based on your recommendation. Thanks again
The cost and the fact that it recharges with USB-C was a no brainer for me. Since I received a magsafe case, it sticks like glue. No doubt one of the bigger companies will come out with something similar and better, but for now, I have a portable charger that's small and fast.

I will use with iPhone 12 Pro with Apple MagSafe leather case. Don’t plan on using it often but when I need it I will need a quick recharge.

Oh maybe I misread it. Is it a MagSafe charger that connects with magnets to iPhone ?
No no. Use the usb-c to lightning cable. Plug the usb-c to the M3 and lightning to the iPhone . I can use the magsafe but its darn slow.

Interesting 🤔
So basically getting a Qi wireless charging and USB C to lightning powerbank that runs Android with a Snapdragon chip.

yes... but i recommend using usb-c to lightning instead of wireless pads. And the M3 can be a hotspot for the iPhone too haha.

Well thanks for your input. Not what I was looking for, it’s just a battery that you can plug into your phone to charge your phone. Already have several of those, looking to take advantage of MagSafe to reduce wires etc.

Ah, i use an Aukey PB-WL03S for Magsafe. It also has wireless charging enabled.

But it doesn’t stick to the phone to charge, does it?
No. I have to use the magsafe cable to charge it. I know what OP means which is a powerbank which charges the iphone while sticking to the back. But i havent found 1 yet in Indonesia.

I found another brand that has magsafe powerbank.
It's Zeera Wireless.

For discounted price of $56 (w/o shipping), you get
1x Battery : 3000mAh(3.7V)
Input : USB C 5V⎓2.4A
Output : USB C 5V⎓2.4A / QI Wireless 7.5W
1x phone stand
1x magnetic cable

Is this worth it guys? Or should I wait for Anker too?

Battery just arrived. About 80% charged. Works on my 12 Pro with the ESR Clear Case. I think the case has a glass back. Charges with the case on, but not snug. Without the case it’s nice and tight
Does it support 15W wireless charge like stated in the box? How fast does it charge?

It does charge fast, in my opinion. Wether it's 15W (listed on side along with 5000mAh-18.5Wh) I have no way of determining. I did purchase a MagSafe case and it's not coming off unless you want it off.
