I found another brand that has magsafe powerbank.
It's Zeera Wireless.

View attachment 1728829

For discounted price of $56 (w/o shipping), you get
1x Battery : 3000mAh(3.7V)
Input : USB C 5V⎓2.4A
Output : USB C 5V⎓2.4A / QI Wireless 7.5W
1x phone stand
1x magnetic cable

Is this worth it guys? Or should I wait for Anker too?

Does it support 15W wireless charge like stated in the box? How fast does it charge?
3000mAh is pretty small. All the MagSafe packs I’ve seen are 5000mAh. And for $56 dollars; I think you’re better off waiting. The ChargeFast.co ones are cheaper and higher mAh.

I'm not sure how much I trust the ratings on some of the chargers I've seen, especially the ones willing to lie that they can deliver the full 15w output.

That said, I'd be ok with 3000mAh so long as the charger doesn't make it look like my phone is pregnant. I'd actually prefer to carry two slimmer "magsafe battery banks" than one larger one. Would give me the same utility/formfactor as the old-school user replaceable batteries but with a hot-swappable capability.

any response from MagSnap.co? I sent 3 emails, got 1 reply to the 3rd asking why I wanted to return it. Three days after and no new reply. I initiated a dispute with my cc company. Very disappointing. They seemed like a good company. Now I would never buy anything again there.

Just starting out on this thread - sorry if already mentioned, but this company’s site is down.

Probably shut down for good.

I ordered the Oisle a few weeks back from Aliexpress. About 50 Dollar with free shipping.
Only white and red was available. After 1 day the seller contacted me through Whatsapp and asked me if I would like to choose another color as they only have black and blue left. I wanted the blue so I agreed to that. Now I am waiting. It may take a few weeks more. The price is changing almost daily on Ali: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...earchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_

I’m very curious to see and hear how this works on the 12 Mini (as you have that and a 12 Pro).
Any feedback? 4227mAh seems low as others are standardizing on 5000mAh or 10KmAh.

I’m thinking about a similar model/design to charge my upcoming 12 Mini and AirPod Pro’s when out and about.

Got caught up ... lots of useful and helpful feedback.

This MagPack looks promising. Not yet on sale, they say shipping in early 2021. If the actual item matches the description then it would be a very good accessory.

At 4000mAh and nothing specific of wireless charging rate/power, site looking like it was designed by a 10yr old using Wordpress and little information (no packaging, etc) and too big for 12 Mini (very last picture of 3 at the bottom) - I’m passing on this.

I ordered this one and am impatiently waiting. Has anyone seen this one live yet?

Thank you!
5000mAh, not too bulky, slim design, 15W MagSafe/20W PD ~ via USB-C.
Comes with USB-C cable.
(someone mentioned Apple’s official version will look similar to this).

The same company that’s selling the branded Caseier MagSafe power bank that 9To5 wrote about is selling a newer one that closely resembles the mock-up article of an Apple branded solution.

Concept: https://9to5mac.com/2020/11/04/ipho...52Wm5ORFF3UHQ0Z3hET0h2OFd4Nm5uQVlidlc5MFVKMWM.

Charge Fast product: https://chargefast.co/products/charge-fast™-ultra-magsafe-air-thin-power-bank

My guess is that the product doesn’t actually exist yet. I wouldn’t buy it now as if it does actually come out it will be available on AliExpress for considerably less.

All this makes me wish that Apple would put out their own solution that allows for charging the power bank wirelessly as well.

Yup, a bit pricey, lowers when buying more than 1, I think this is what I’ve settled on, but man that Zeera is sleek and comes with a VERY cool magnetic USB-C cable (no more tangles in the bag).

My Oisle arrived.
It is slight heavy so I tried to put to middle of the phone for better gravity.
Build wise it is quite solid with rubbery smooth feel but need to be caring not to drop as potential wear and tear. There is trace of glue on white ring. It stick to peel case very well although unsure it is glue or magnet itself that holds.

Charging capacity wise not tested yet.

I don’t think to use for daily usage but I will just keep in my backpack for backup for MagSafe go.

Oisle looks great ... not sure if this has 15W MagSafe charging / 20W PD ??

Hi, I think I just found the official website for the magsafe powerbank. It looks legit. Just ordered one for my 12 mini, hope I dont regret it like always when I order online... magpowerair.com if anybody is wondering

Finally got my Charge Fast battery back. Took a few weeks to get from China but it seems great so far. Will post impressions after a couple of days but initially it does seem to charge surprisingly fast. Only downside at the moment is I did expect it to be able to charge wirelessly but apparently it needs to be plugged in with a USB-C cable to charge. Also the magnetic hold is very secure onto an Apple leather MagSafe case View attachment 1714159View attachment 1714161View attachment 1714162

^ This is the one I felt was the gold standard thus far with 5000mAh - but it’s not the only one and man it’s a LOT chunkier than what I thought. I appreciate the photos to show us all.

Some resellers (even on AliExpress state the 5000mAh model as 10000mAh falsely/confusingly and other sub-sites also state a different 10000mAh model - cannot imaging the chunk on that size.

I got my MagSafe battery in today! I am very impressed with the build quality given the $30 price point (feels just as solid as much more expensive batteries) - I love that it recharges over USB-C. The magnetic side is a super soft rubber and feels even less likely to damage the iPhone than the MagSafe puck snapping to it.

My first test went from 35 percent to 66 percent in 30 minutes; so roughly 1 percent a minute - need to do some tests to compare to the regular MagSafe puck, but pretty impressed so far! That is the 12 mini for size references.
Much appreciated.

I had it it on for an hour and nothing unusual. If anything, the battery got slightly warm.

Received my one over the weekend, from https://maggsafe.com/ got delivered within 3 days. The quality and build is really good in my opinion. The charging via MagSafe is not as fast as connecting it directly with a cable, but the size sold it for me and probably the smallest currently in the market.

^ Considering the price comparison to others ... and at 7.5w (lower than what the 12/12Pro/12Max and EVEN the 12 Mini can charge at ... I’d pass until Zeera comes out with a better model. Love that USB-C magnetic cable though (no tangles). Not sure Anker will have a better design or sleek design.

I don't believe for a second that one actually charges at 15W. I have yet to find a 3rd party charger (except belkin) that despite their claims ACTUALLY deliver 15w to an iPhone. The ones I've tested all top off at 7.5w. It is possible they could charge an Android phone using the generic QI profile to 15W... but it is very misleading.

Ordered! Thank you! Been looking for a listing for this for a while. Must have just missed it.
I know this made it to the front page but when was the actual release date? I know they did anounce this during CES2021.

Anyways, being that I am a pro max user, this is irrelevant for me as I won't plan on getting this.

It had a release date of Mid-April on Amazon. This morning I woke up to an email saying I will have it by March 9th.

I just got mine today. Magnet doesnt feel super strong but will hold the phone if I just have hold by the magnet. However, when I attach it to my 12promax it doesnt give me that MagSafe animation. How do I know its charging at 15w?

and whoops its actually their newer one

These non apple certified ones only charge at 5w.

That’s not actually true … some including the one I have display the MagSafe animation indicating it is true MagSafe charging at the full 15watts - my theory is they are buying the same components Apple is using and packaging up the MagSafe charger into these batteries - others charge at 7.5 and some charge at 5; but it is by no means consistent

I highly doubt this small charger is 10K mAh though so I’m skeptical.

The battery pack in your second link is the one I ordered, 2 actually.

placed my order 2 weeks ago. Got a reply stating I’m an important customer, yet they couldn’t spell my first name correctly yet it was part of the registration. They said ppl make mistakes. Link for tracking no code provided. 1wk later they said it’s on its way BUT no tracking # provided. Grrrr.

kinda pissing me off and not the best feeling as I’m considering how bad their customer service bee if I need a warranty claim. When companies selling products are not on top of every aspect done right from the start it doesn’t bode well.

EDITED: “co spidering” typo corrected with “considering”

ya the tracking was not accurate...it kept saying it was in the town close by but that was it, then all of a sudden it showed up. On their website it does "say" it charges at 15w...

Well at LEAST you got something to show for your tracking.

Charge Fast provided 1 tracking # on Mar 2ND 2021 (I purchased 2 chargers on Feb 22ND) - invalid, no originating, no destination address, no itinerary of shipping at all! Then another completely different tracking # with a different shipping tracking company was provided Mar 9TH 2021 .. and being Sunday 3.14.2021 at 3:40 AM again the tracking provided is showing up as ‘invalid or nothing’ ... over $100CAN and nothing!

I’ve sent my 4TH email to them about this!
The next I’ll be contacting the better business bureau and then will go online to every forum site that mentions these products and then soon iMore, etc to mention this issue as well. Right now I feel like my money was stolen/I was robbed or bamboozled.

I spy with my little eye...

I ordered that a few weeks ago and this morning Amazon canceled my order, I guess it's no longer available.

Are there any MagSafe power banks out there by reputable brands, and not some cheap Chinese Aliexpress piece of **** that's likely to burst into flames if I look at it the wrong way? I'm surprised that MagSafe has been out for 6 months and there aren't tons of them from the usual brands, how hard can it be to make one?

Not sure if this is reputable or not...but this popped up on my feeds. I still like mine but the 5000ma drains fully to charge my pro max...i think due to some efficiency loss from wireless charging.

this company has a 10000mah one and shows both the 5000mah and 10000 charging with the faster rate

Alright, so my Anker PowerCore Magnetic 5K order on Amazon went through, and arrived on Sunday.

As stated on the product description and from the label on the side,
  • Cell capacity: 5000mAh 3.7Vdc/18.5Wh
  • USB-C input: 5V, 2.2A
  • USB-C output: 5V, 2A
  • Wireless output: 5W Max
  • Total output: 10W Max

Tested with my iPhone 12 Pro Max with MagSafe Silicon case, charged from 6%, it went to 50% in 2 hours, and completely emptied the power bank at 74% after another 1++ hours. In total, around 3.5 hours to 74%.
The power bank gets warm like when you are gaming.
Magnet strength is good with the case, comparable with the MagSafe charger.
Works for Airpods Pro too.

For $43 I guess it's worth it, even though I would like at least 7.5W instead of 5W. Build quality is also good as expected, nice rounded corners. At this price, I feel like it's borderline paying for premium of Anker brand and the magnet convenience. Almost regretted buying this instead of Zeera one, but I never have any problem with any of Anker products.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Damn that's bulky, even for 5000mAh. Good initial review and we greatly appreciate this!

The Zeera - looks great, especially the magnetic USB-C cable it comes with - they really SHOULD sell those separately to boost their revenues.

You're right ... never any build quality or proper performance issues with Anker.

The one on the website I linked has a super small 5000mah one. Haven’t bought anything from that company though.
also supposedly does the 15w charging
