hmm. I'm skeptical:
"Support side charging side"
"Every disk" _ what on earth is an every

The Alcantara wallet does interest me a bit though I might go for that

ya if I didnt already have mine I was going to purchase one and see how it works. At least they are Canadian but it looks like they buy from overseas anyways....

I just posted a video about Magsafe chargers I made in which I mention and show this model of Magsafe Powerbank I bought on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3w0orSc

Giving this one a shot since it has the best availability. Will report back once I get it and test.

So far so good. It looks sturdy, and even for the size. I can pick up the phone, and the charger stays attached.

Looks and works like the one I have posted in 100. My pict is on the left. Still working, easy to carry when I know I might need it, couldn’t be happier.

There is no doubt this small charger would be 10000 mAh, they are just misleading with image
Its 18mm thick, its small but very bulky

And it is definitely warm, but not so hot that I can't keep it in my hand.
I knew it would be be 15W, now is your capacity 10K mAh or 5K mAh? From your link earlier the sun page on AliExpress states 10K mAh but all reviews with pictures shows 5K mAh.

That is my real concern - plus the long delivery timeline to Canada.

70*65*18mm for 10000 mAh, those users that published reviews bought 5k version
Yeah you would expect long delivery delay though
Aliexpress provides buyer's protection, dont worry if seller messed up with capacity

Any U.K. bought any from Amazon to try?

Rumours of official Apple one coming but has anyone bought the numerous ones on Amazon etc yet? Few linked below for example.

They seem to vary in physical size, but be the same mAh. What’s best size mAh to get? As surely it can’t be too big as the point is to have it attached to iPhone and be easy to hold. I have the iPhone 12.

My ideals would be to have a 15W output as well for speed, not sure on the heat of holding this and charging though. Not too large, probably 5000mAh seems to be best ratio to size/capacity. A kick stand or similar maybe, small if built in.

Received my one over the weekend, from https://maggsafe.com/ got delivered within 3 days. The quality and build is really good in my opinion. The charging via MagSafe is not as fast as connecting it directly with a cable, but the size sold it for me and probably the smallest currently in the market.

Are you in U.K. and ordered direct from Maggsafe site?

On your Pro, think it’s same as my 12 irt battery size, what does it charge to? 0-100% and more? How long via MagSafe does it take please?

Does it get hot when charging? Hot when attached and charging?

Can you plug it in to charge and attach MagSafe to charge iPhone at same time? So for example for overnight?

Is it secure, work ok through MagSafe cases as well and stay attached?

I believe it’s only 5W wireless charging, does it still charge if using iPhone? If watching a video does % go up so still charges?

Seems the best size as others looked at in here and Amazon UK seem really bulky.

5000 mah would be the best compromise between bulkiness, capacity and mobility
10 000 mah is more suitable for travel
I ordered 3000 mah (they claim 5000 mah but under description, its marked 3000 mah)
Fortunately i have 12 Mini so 3000 mah might be enough
Stay on 5000 mah unless your usage needs more capacity
I dont trust 15w output, most likely 5-10w which is less harmful for battery health (less warm)

All your links are bunk - going through some buy.geni.us proxy?

Oh sorry I’ll try again, they were just the links straight from Amazon. They were from the app maybe why? Try these please....

I’m thing the Osile looks best, small size and neat. I think 10’000mAh ones are as described either not, or will be too big.

I’m finding pics and a lot seem really bulky, think I’d prefer a smaller one. Not sure on the 15W ones as well, surely they’d get quite hot and you have to hold them? 5W is slow but maybe enough?

On an iPhone 12 using a 5W type would playing a video with it attached still charge it up or would it be using too much power so just basically stay at the same %?

Its really expensive though
I ordered mine for less than 15 eur (i got discount for the 11 th anniversary)
But usual price is under 20 eur for most of power bank

Seems to be so much variation, even in the non branded Aliexpress, eBay and Amazon UK ones anyway, that look and seem exactly the same.

Some say 5000mAh, whereas packing says 3000mAh. Some say x MM thick, others X MM think, some 5W and some 15W.

Think the safest for me is to buy off Amazon UK and then try at least have some return security.

How could you tell that it’s charging at 15W, compared to 5W or 7.5W once I get one? An easy way? Time or something?

Still deciding on which to get....

Thanks

Even with the iPhone 12 series the 15W Qi charging in MagSafe officially licensed chargers is not fully 15W all the way from 0-full charge. close to 80% or less it'll drop down to about 7.5W or most likely less. I recall an Apple document about that yet unable to find it.

Specifically Apple states "provide faster wireless charging up to 15W." the key is the 'up to' - and to protect battery longevity.

Update: found this link

The system intelligently adapts to conditions in order to optimize charging iPhone 12 at up to 15W of peak power delivery for faster wireless charging. The actual power delivered to the iPhone will vary depending on the wattage of the power adapter and system conditions. For iPhone 12 mini, the MagSafe Charger delivers up to 12W of peak power delivery.
  • Your MagSafe Charger is designed for faster and most efficient charging with iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and Apple MagSafe accessories.
  • When charging a non-MagSafe Qi-compatible device with a MagSafe Charger, power is reduced and charge times may be slower than on a typical Qi charger.
  • Don't place credit cards, security badges, passports, or key fobs between your iPhone and MagSafe Charger, because this might damage magnetic strips or RFID chips in those items.
  • If you have a case that holds any of these sensitive items, remove them before charging or make sure that they aren’t between the back of your device and the charger.
  • If your iPhone is connected to both a MagSafe Charger and power via a Lightning port, your iPhone will charge via the Lightning connector.
  • As with other wireless chargers, your iPhone or MagSafe Charger might get slightly warmer while your iPhone charges. To extend the lifespan of your battery, if the battery gets too warm, software might limit charging above 80 percent.

  • iPhone 12 mini can get up to 12W for faster wireless charging with at least 9V/2.03A

So it's a good thing.

About 2 weeks (EU)
Aliexpress to EU is pretty straight-forward, most of time it only takes 2/3 weeks
Sometimes under 10 days

Hi, does someone know if the Pitaka MagEZ Case Series works with the Belkin Car Vent Mount with MagSafe? I know that there are magnets in the case and in the Car Mount but are they strong enough to hold the phone on the Car Vent Mount?

I have the Pitaka MagEZ case (not the weird Pro version) on my iPhone 12 mini and it works with the Belkin 3-in-1 MagSafe desk charger so I’m 100% confident it’ll work flawlessly with the Car vent.

the magnets in the MagEZ case does not in anyway affect the wireless charging our mounts for MagSafe.

also I can attest to their customer service being 💯 responsive involved and go above n beyond. No I don’t work nor have ownership nor affiliated with the company in anyway shape or form.

Got an unbranded one. It’s ok, sticks well to iPhone, but doesn’t seem to have the little vertical magnet for keeping it straight so it sometimes does twist. The USB-C is only in and doesn’t out, there is a USB-A for that but will be slower than if it had USB-C out. Not sure wether to keep it or not.

Strangely, in the awful converted to English manual, not once does it mention the main selling point of it being a MagSafe battery!
