Just finished playing with it.

A bit crowded. I wonder if they will ever make the second toolbar be hidden when you first go to a tab, then tap the tab again to unhide it. (then again, that interferes with popping back to the root view)

Now my friends will take my iPhone more often and stay on Facebook longer...thanks a lot, Facebook!:D jk

Chat works, but that's not a surprise. The surprise comes when you're chatting for a while, then every message you send to the same person seems to not work because "they're offline". Refresh the page a couple times (every refresh showing they're online again, but trying to send a message puts them back offline) and wait a few minutes before it actually works. So annoying when someone is in a rush.

ehhh...greatly improved but still needs stuff like when u have a notification that is like so and so has commented on a photo of u, it should go to that photo like on the website not the person who left the comments profile

Arghhh, the new facebook app doesn't take you to the most recent message when you go into a private message thread. Instead it begins the display of messages in chronological order which means I have to swipe up for 30 seconds just to get to the more recent message :(!

Edit: I think they've gone backwards with the private messages. When you go to make a reply, a "popup" text area appears over the message thread and there's no way to look at what your friend has written in their message. I think this is pretty silly because I have the memory of a fish and I just forget what was said in previous messages.

Yes! This is the major update we've been waiting for!

Noticed a bug already, though...
I ignored two friend requests, and all seemed fine -- but when I signed out and in again, the friend requests were still there. Ignored them again, signed in and out, and they still remained. They won't go away!

I also noticed, like kinchee87, that the private message threads start at the beginning -- which is a drag for really long ones.

Ah well...something to fix for the next update. But for the most part, the app finally has a LOT of the features I've been waiting for, and is a VAST improvement. :D

The myspace app is fine for me but I just find that it is wayyy to sluggish.. It's like a spoon of molasses running down the side of a bowl or something. It's horrible. The interface for the myspace could use some tweaking. The new facebook is great and looks cool but I'm encountering major bugs. I can't load my wall or my freinds or anything. It's strange. My messages load though. The chat feature has always worked perfectly fine for me.

Is this broke for anyone else? I click on the 'f' and it just opens a black screen.

EDIT: Deleting the old one then re-installing it seemed to work.

Love this new facebook app! I have been waiting for this. Really is going to help when I'm not near a computer.
