What's with that MasterCard logo? Looks like they're not doing Visa Apple Pay.

Also, I'm hoping my local McD's gets MX915 too. Hopefully they'll be EMV enabled soon.

And I just used EMV at Target and it works great. I slid my card and it beeped 3 times saying it has to be inserted. I inserted and bam. Worked. USAA card asked for PIN, but my WF debit doesn't just goes through as no CVM.
Yeah, its very odd. Visa indeed does not work with Apple Pay, I will try a Visa MSD contactless card and see if that works. Its bizarre that they covered up the AMEX logo with a Visa sticker, when AMEX works fine, but Visa doesn't.

Our Whole Foods just opened in Dayton, Ohio. So, now 3 major grocery stores with Apple Pay--:)

I just need the Box Stores/Target/Best Buy on board and very happy.

Still surprised at the number of retailers that don't take my LoopPay here. Bought it with the advertisement by LoopPay it will work at 90% of all locations. Not true. I still find it a good substitute till AP is more available. I want AP for 100% of my purchases, then no LP needed.

I have a Visa and a MasterCard issued by the same bank that Work with Apple Pay terminals. In addition my bank which is a smallish bank only located in Texas issues Visa be it cards and has sent up notifications that on the 29th will work with Apple Pay.

I'm curious if can you snap a picture of the new terminals that HEB is using? I wonder if Google Wallet would work there as it often works even if Apple Pay fails to work until they fix the backend for Apple Pay.
I finally got to HEB this morning. I put my phone up to the terminal, but no Apple Pay. The clerk said it was activated to use coupons in the HEB app only. I did read somewhere at HEB would support Apple Pay later this year.
Anyway, Here's your Pic !

Nice, new, and shiny! That is the L5300 Triple Black and I see zero NFC indicator lit on the top, if it was on it would look like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38348368/20141114_183204.jpg

Found a restaurant that supports Apple Pay. They opened fairly recently and have a Clover POS with a FD40 touchscreen PIN pad attached. Tapping worked fine and I didn't have to sign just like the other restaurant I was at with the exact same setup. :D

The HEB that I went to had the same thing and even the chip reader wasn't turned on. And the new terminals require the pen for the touchscreen where a finger worked with the older units (which also had chip readers and NFC btw)

ahhh. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I'll be aware of that and watch for it.

Terribly sorry for going a bit off topic, but what are the requirements that need to be met in order to edit the list? I want to add Cub Foods to it, but don't think I can. :(

Anyone know the deal with REI? They have MX925/915 (One should buy stock in Verifone...) but it has the same basic "Please swipe card" message that Chick-fil-a had (and Trader Joe's before the OS update).

Also my local trader joe's, whose had the new terminals for 1+months have, in the last week or two, enabled Apple Pay. So chances are if your Trader Joe's has the newer terminals they will be updated soon. Haven't tried using my EMV card though.

If it says "Please Slide Card" it usually means that contactless is turned on (Natural Grocers, Sun Mart), except at Kroger where it says "Please Slide Card at any time" I bet Trader Joe's will be one of the new Apple Pay merchants accounced at WWDC like tomorrow or sometime this week. That is great news to hear, hopefully my local one will support it soon and it sounds like they are going to roll it out company wide? :D So today I walked into Menards and they had brand new Verifone MX925's with the EMV slot covered up and it said "Please swipe your payment card." on the screen, NFC was of course turned off so I will contact them and ask the about supporting it. Menards is a lot like Home Depot but better imo. They are primarily in the midwest so many of you may have not heard about or seen them before.

Seems you were right. A number of Apple Pay partners were added to the slide:

Best Buy
Big Lots
Dunkin' Doughnuts
JCPenny
Kohl's
Mariot
Renaissance
Trader Joe's
White Castle

Some are CurrentC members....

Don't forget Baskin Robbins(Owned by Dunkin Donuts) who is also MCX, also here is the full sized slide http://images.apple.com/live/2015-j...22d0ebe0a4f27b2047555729f_expanded_xlarge.jpg you can see all merchant names in it. https://www.apple.com/apple-pay/where-to-use-apple-pay/ has already been updated with many of the new merchants listed already

Tee bee! I managed to force a Google Wallet transaction at CVS today. It took about 5 minutes or so at the register, but did eventually go through. I will try Apple Pay tomorrow. If you want to try this yourself, go to a CVS with the older Verifone terminals during a time when its not crowded. Tell the cashier that it may take a while to get this to work and ask him/her to be patient. You will need to continuously tap your phone over and over multiple times. Eventually, the old terminal will slip up and prompt you to pick debit/credit. Choose credit and it should go through. Good luck!

Interesting CVS replaced their terminals at my location with brand new MX925 with the external reader.

Tried applepay but it did not work. Wonder if they plan on enabling it in the next few months....

Probably not, I am emailed and messaged them on Twitter and not even a reply. I will try Walgreens which is right across the street. I guess CVS isn't concerned with customer issues. They at the least could have replied and said they don't and won't support AP. I tried my BB but they are still not online for AP.

Did your Best Buy have the new Ingenico iSC480 terminals? I saw the new ones at a Best Buy Mobile store, but an actual Best Buy store did not have them yet. If they had the new iSC480's you could try tapping on the left on the keypad as that is where the built in NFC coil is located. I also see your Trader Joe's on the locator, mine isn't on there yet, but it does work, I tried it there yesterday, with success! :)

Didn't look that close at terminal--sorry

An employee that just had Apple training said about a month ago they were getting AP in a couple weeks. Guess not--oh well

Any gas stations that have NFC enabled at the pump yet? The MasterCard site is only showing the cash register icon for the ones in my immediate area and a few random areas within a couple hours drive.
