I sometimes have problems with USB hotpluging, but if I use a hub it works every time.Hello friends. I just used OCLP 2.5 to install Big Sur in my cMP5,1 and USB keyboard doesn't work... Any workaround? Thanks in advance!
This isn’t the OCLP support group. This thread advocates the OpenCore installation method of post #1.Hello friends. I just used OCLP 2.5 to install Big Sur in my cMP5,1 and USB keyboard doesn't work... Any workaround? Thanks in advance!

Your previous post shows a broken OCLP installation which you broke even further by using an alpha ("nightly") version of OCLP instead of a release version. Your computer also shows signs of being out of order (boot-args not passed by OC to the system? Gotta be kiddin' me).How do I configure config.plist to show the Apple logo and progress bar?
I was able to figure it out. I intentionally ran bless against a completely different EFI partition, and then ran bless against the correct EFI partition. Then, the OpenCore version was successfully displayed in "nvram 4D1FDA02-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B30102: opencore-version". And successfully I was able to see the apple logo and progress bar on Mac startup. How do I configure config.plist to show the Apple logo and progress bar?
My Mac is always set to go into Sleep mode and never had issues to wake-up. OC 0.7.3 EFI built with OpenCore Plistlib Generator + BS 11.6For some reason my cMP 5,1 cant wake up after sleep in BigSur. Is this a known problem or only me having this issue?
I don't have this update, 3am here. Insomnia galore.this was unexpected... RC Beta(i think) 11.6.1 went perfect
That's normal. 11.6.1 is a beta.
Regarding Monterey, it's possible that RestrictEvents (see post #9,002) has replaced that requirement. This still needs to be confirmed, though.VMM isn’t necessary for Big Sur, but it appears to be required for Monterey (?).
