Maybe I understood. I have an AMD Radeon HD 7970 GPU. I believe it does not support Hardware Acceleration. Right? You have to tell us what you've done, otherwise, no way for us to guess what's wrong.

Legacy or GPT?After installing OpenCore with a fresh 11.6.7 install, it cannot see my Windows 10 volume in the bootloader
BlessOverride
set to \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi
?try this EFI folder
I know I'm late to the party, but I've got a MacPro5,1 with a Radeon RX 580, and an upgraded wifi/bluetooth module. I unpacked REL-057-2020-04-04.zip and installed it as my EFI folder. I get the beautiful fancy bootloader screen, so I know that's working, but I don't have hardware accelleration as an option in VideoProc Converter, which was recommended as a way to test if it was working in a Medium post I read. Any suggestions?
It's basic Opencore knowledge it does not support legacy Windows. Convert to GPT (and it will pick up Windows by itself) or chainload some other utility. It's a legacy volume. No idea where to find the BlessOverride setting.
Already releasedWhen is OC 0.8.2 supposed to appear, considering today is a national holiday in the USA?
Yes there is a guideIs there a guide on how to update OC or is it simply reinstalling it just like the original install?
Yes there is a guide
The guide has been updated to OpenCore version 0.8.2. Because the changes are all under the hood this month, you'll be able to reuse your config file from 0.8.1. Happy updating!
What about if coming from 0.8.0? I think a few things need to be changed, huh?
Does the BCM94332 work on Monterey with the patch?Correct. Since the guide is a Wiki page, you can use the "History" button to see the required config changes from 0.8.0 to 0.8.1.
Apple updated the specifics of the APFS format - Mojave can't read it hence you get the "Incompatible Drive" notification. That is normal. After reading the guide, I installed Mojave and Monterey on two different drives. Everything works but Mojave reports an error: "Incompatible Drive: This disk uses features that are not supported on this version of macOS". Both discs were formatted with Mojave. Monterey was installed by Mojave with the installer app on a separate disk ...Monterey has created a volume named "Update" on its disk. All volumes were unmounted when starting Mojave via the fstab file…
FWIW, I also use OCLP and upgraded from 11.6.7 to 12.4 and haven't noticed any issues at all so far. I updated 2 days ago. The main issue I have (which was also happening under 11.6.7) is that the computer doesn't wake from deep sleep by using the keyboard. I have to tap the power button to wake up the machine. Other than that, things have been good all around.Has anyone been able to update to 12.4 from 11.6.7 with OCLP 0.4.7? I originally tried going straight to 12.4 from Mojave but was unable to bless the USB and couldn't figure out why, but was able to get Big Sur to install without issue. Someone has said somewhere it could have been because they released a new update fro M2 support? I want to try the update but am worried this will mess something up, I'd rather stay on Big Sur if I know it's more stable.
