After installing OpenCore with a fresh 11.6.7 install, it cannot see my Windows 10 volume in the bootloader or allow me to set it as a reboot able volume (it mounts normally) so I can easily reboot to windows from macOS. My macOS SSD is in bay 1 and the windows volume is in bay 2. Any ideas?

Currently only able to boot into windows if I remove the macOS SSD, don't want to ruin my drive bays by removing / reinstalling them so much.

try this EFI folder

I know I'm late to the party, but I've got a MacPro5,1 with a Radeon RX 580, and an upgraded wifi/bluetooth module. I unpacked REL-057-2020-04-04.zip and installed it as my EFI folder. I get the beautiful fancy bootloader screen, so I know that's working, but I don't have hardware accelleration as an option in VideoProc Converter, which was recommended as a way to test if it was working in a Medium post I read. Any suggestions?

1. How do you expect a default, non-accelerated, configuration to accelerate your specific setup? Perhaps ask the guy who wrote on Medium.
2. If you are seeking help here, read post #1 in this thread.
3. Make sure you pay special attention when you see the words "hardware acceleration" in post #1.

Just to confirm, legacy wireless cards like the one that shipped with the 5,1 do not work with the latest opencore package and Monterey even with the patch, right?

@tsialex The over-provisioning settings you recommended for NVMe drives are working wonders on my system running OC 0.8+. The system used to produce fsck drive errors in a daemon over time that would have to be manually killed to free up memory. Nothing like that appears to have happened since and system remains snappier over extended use.

Are there any OC settings/tweaks that you or anyone would recommend for heavy resource usage users which would help keep the system running optimally over time; say, longer than 30+ days? Besides the obvious increasing RAM and changing the vm_compressor settings?

Heavy usage might include: multiple browser and application windows open over multiple desktop spaces running consistently. The system obviously slows depending on the number of windows opened and WindowServer is always the biggest culprit over time.

After reading the guide, I installed Mojave and Monterey on two different drives. Everything works but Mojave reports an error: "Incompatible Drive: This disk uses features that are not supported on this version of macOS". Both discs were formatted with Mojave. Monterey was installed by Mojave with the installer app on a separate disk ...Monterey has created a volume named "Update" on its disk. All volumes were unmounted when starting Mojave via the fstab file…

Apple updated the specifics of the APFS format - Mojave can't read it hence you get the "Incompatible Drive" notification. That is normal.

Has anyone been able to update to 12.4 from 11.6.7 with OCLP 0.4.7? I originally tried going straight to 12.4 from Mojave but was unable to bless the USB and couldn't figure out why, but was able to get Big Sur to install without issue. Someone has said somewhere it could have been because they released a new update fro M2 support? I want to try the update but am worried this will mess something up, I'd rather stay on Big Sur if I know it's more stable.

FWIW, I also use OCLP and upgraded from 11.6.7 to 12.4 and haven't noticed any issues at all so far. I updated 2 days ago. The main issue I have (which was also happening under 11.6.7) is that the computer doesn't wake from deep sleep by using the keyboard. I have to tap the power button to wake up the machine. Other than that, things have been good all around.
