[Merged] Canada shipping status

Well, there's some more progress (all be it small). My micro-sim now has a UPS tracking number, but the tracking link shows that there's no information yet.

I wonder how much it costs Apple to courier a 20 cent micro-sim?
 
Apple has processed my ipad payment, not sure if that means if it's about to be shipped or has already (apple.com hasn't updated) I am not sure if fedex will pick up on a Saturday... And depending on if fedex will be at work (logistics) on Victoria day, we might have our ipads Tuesday or Wednesday

As much as I would love for them to arrive that early, I wouldn't count on it. The iPads are coming from China, and I doubt they'd arrive in Canada before next week... especially with the holiday.

I ordered a universal dock with standard shipping and got it 2 days later, it came from shenzhen (last week) I live in Toronto - it went throughr Lantau, HK then Memphis, TN
 
My order was at 3:04am... I'm hoping mine switches to prepared for shipment soon! Keeping me occupied on this looooooooong Friday at work. I wish we could've had our iPads for the long weekend :)
 
Up until 2 days ago I wanted to wait, but then said f*ck it.

I ordered it 2 days ago...ships by June 7th is all I've got. :(

I hear ya! Worse still I won't be able to use mine next weekend as I head out after work for the weekend and I can't take it with me :( I'll have a few hours at work to mess around with it is all.
 
Driving to buffalo on April 3rd to get my iPad was so much more worth it than I could have ever imagined. You guys will be thrilled with your new iPad. Only one week left until christmas in may!
 
If apple says that you will get your ipads next Friday, they will arrive next Friday. Don't worry about it.
 
Apple just debited the cost off my credit card this morning, though it still says not yet shipped.

For all the posters above saying we should just be patient: I don't believe there is a chance of getting it before Friday, nonetheless I will keep checking periodically throughout the day every day until it arrives because that's half the fun - so let us have it :apple:

3G or WiFi? What time did you preorder on the 10th? Thanks! I've never been so obsessed over a product. Going crazy!

It is 3G, ordered May 10th 5:30am. You're right to be excited; this thing is awesome - I know from experience. I went across the border and bought a WiFi one on April 3rd since I couldn't wait. I used it for nearly two months, just sold it yesterday on Kijiji for more than I paid for it. I already miss it. Friday can't come soon enough.
 
still waiting on mine aswell :(

i ordered 10 minutes after the apple store went live on the morning of the 10th... i got a 32gb 3G
 
Apple processed my credit card payment also. But just enough for the iPad. They have not yet processed the payment for the keyboard,case and camera USB that I ordered at the same time. It looks that apple ships the iPad separate form the accessories.
