cargoguy.....you are good buddy, my activity just changed to 'arrived at Fed Ex location' in Anchorage. You called it 100%, very impressive. At what time will my iPad arrive at my door in Sooke B.C?
Mine left the Fedex facility at 10:07 AM Mountain Daylight Time today from Shenzhen, China. My guess is that it (along with many others) is on Fedex flight 90 enroute to Memphis.

The flight for 12:06AM FedEx is flying directly from Shenzhen, not Shanghai. So that link is incorrect.
Mine left China this morning, and now is in Ontario, and I live in New Brunswick, so I could be lucky enuff to get it tmrw, or thursday, that would be stellar!
You are right of course... I had the times (and the airports) mixed up). At least it is on its way...LOL

Seriously, glad yours made that flight, mine is still showing "Left Fedex origin facility".
Now I'm got to find the next Fedex flight out of Shenzhen.
For those like me with it still showing Left origin, it's possible it is on FDX98 out of Hong Kong direct to Memphis. Shenzhen is just inside mainland China from Hong Kong. Here's hoping we get updates it's in Memphis in about 5 hours.
Mine is in Ontario also, but I need it on the other side of the country. Knowing Fedex it will now go to Memphis TN. It won't go straight out to the other Canadian cities. Another package I'm expecting arrived in Richmond BC and then went to Memphis and then back to Richmond all in one day and now its coming to me tomorrow. Fedex has some crazy routing but they know what works and in the end what flights they choose are usually the fastest route. However, even if you live in Mississauga it will still head to the US first!
For those of us that are on the 9:06ish flight out of ShenZhen this morning, it looks like we will have a couple more hours before they land in Anchorage.
Do you mind posting your tracking history? Want to get a rough estimate of where my iPad will go. Thanks.
Hey guys, just talking with someone on another forum and he says that it isn't the ipads in Mississuaga but just paperwork and my detailed tracking says just that. I just had a new scan leaving Anchorage at 3:21 Alaska time so 1 hr ago. Then it should head to Memphis and then back to Vancouver and up to me!!!
The Mississauga thing was confusing me as I've never seen any apple packages jump from Alaska to Ontario directly.
Edit: Just found this site to track the plane, there is one that is Anchorage to Memphis that just left at 4:10pm, gets to Memphis at 1am Memphis time!! Site link: http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/FDX

It arrived in Anchorage at 1:34 and departed at 3:21pm
But since my last post I got a phone call from Apple that Fed-ex won't be able to deliver my package until Tuesday June 1st because I'm in an "outlying area". I can literally drive to the Saskatoon Fed-ex depot in 10 minutes.

After checking the flight tracker for both Fedex flights 28 and 90, it seems to indicate that they both fly out of Shanghai, not Shenzhen.
No matter, since they both wind up in Memphis. Flight 28 via Anchorage and flight 90 direct non stop.
Flight 28 shows a scheduled arrival of 1:00 AM Central Daylight Time in Memphis while flight 90 gets in 45 minutes earlier at 12:15 AM CDT.
I could be wrong... my wife often claims that I am.

i highly doubt mine is on that flight. if scan time is correct that would mean they'd have to move the shipment from hong kong to shanghai within approximately 50 minutes. (400 miles or so)

My SIM card just changed to Out for Delivery MISSISSAUGA, so it looks like I will have that today. However, my iPad is stilling chillin' in Shenzhen. I assume the flights out from HK occur daily at the same times, so I suppose we might see some movement on yesterdays 12:06am CST iPads around noon today when the Anchorage and Memphis flights should begin anew.
Update on mine, it has now left Memphis, hopefully headed to Vancouver and then should arrive a day early if it does!!! I have another unrelated Fedex package that left Memphis yesterday morning at the same time and is being delivered today as Fedex called last night and wanted me to pay duty/taxes on it before delivery.
This also confirms that the Mississauga entry was only for clearance of paperwork into Canada.

In the exact same boat/plane/delivery truck as you. I'm assuming we'll see some major progress by the end of work day. Fedex should be flying another route now and arriving in Alaska @ 1:30pm (3:30pm MST). Then should board a flight to Memphis a couple hours after that and arrive around 1am on May 27th. Then it should fly out to Calgary, make its way to E-town by end of day. And be ready to deliver by noon on the 28th.
Well that's what I'm predicting it will do.
