In the exact same boat/plane/delivery truck as you. I'm assuming we'll see some major progress by the end of work day. Fedex should be flying another route now and arriving in Alaska @ 1:30pm (3:30pm MST). Then should board a flight to Memphis a couple hours after that and arrive around 1am on May 27th. Then it should fly out to Calgary, make its way to E-town by end of day. And be ready to deliver by noon on the 28th.

Well that's what I'm predicting it will do.

My guess is that the iPads in this batch are on Fedex Flight 48 out of Shenzhen this morning.

At the moment I posted this message, the above link shows the flight as 'not yet departed' because SE Asia is not in the FlightAware service area; it was scheduled to leave at 7:05PM May 26 local time in Shenzhen (or May 26 5:05AM MDT in Calgary).

It likely won't show up enroute until it gets into the Alaskan coverage area for FlightAware later today. I'll guess around 10 to 11AM MDT. (Add two hours for Eastern time, subtract one for Pacific)

Yeah but wasn't the in transit scan after scheduled departure? I assume it's loaded on another plane scheduled to leave later
 
Another poster indicated that they had an 'In transit' update time stamped 8:34PM yesterday that must have occurred after the flight departed Shenzhen at 7:43PM local time. I'll assume that the package status is updated automatically while in the air.

We better hope so if we want to see the iPad on Friday. There is only one Fedex flight scheduled per day leaving Shenzhen from what I can figure out.

timestamp on my 5/26 2nd "in transit" is 8:18PM Shenzhen (origin) time.

I can tell you right now, correct, it will fly directly from Shenzhen.

Mine's still setting in Memphis, can't wait for Friday! :)

Went from China to Ontario to Alaska then to Tennessee.

Nova Scotia next here's hoping!
 
My SIM card was rescheduled to deliver on May 31. It was shipped on May 21. WTF!

The iPad is still in transit. I may not receive it on 28th, although the Fedex tracking info still shows deliver on that day.
 
FDX48 lands in Anchorage in just less than an hour, we should start seeing updates shortly after that for those of us still waiting.

Ah, thanks. It seems my iPad could be here tomorrow, but I don't think Apple would want that.
 
I think our ipads might be on FDX98 instead of 48

well, I hope... Because that would mean ipad tomorrow... Mine needs to hit Memphis by around 1am so it can be sorted and sent to Toronto

I think if they are on Flight 48, the freight would have to switch planes in ANC to go to MEM as 48 goes to Newark. I think it would still be in MEM around 1am anyways.

If they are on FDX48, we should see tracking updates pretty soon as it's close to landing.
