[Merged] iPad 3G Ship Rumors

Careful about changing your address after shipment starts... oh I did that once (not to an apple product - but the shippers are the same) and it delayed the shipment by two days. I was sad. But just food for thought. :)

You're welcome:) Go back and look at the very, very long thread about the WiFi's shipping, it will give you lots of insight about the whole process. Also, don't panic once you start tracking your iPad, many people didn't get any tracking updates, or had some very strange updates once it shipped from China until they actually had their iPads in hand. They also never showed out for delivery on the day we received them, but we got them none the less.

I did order the ipad keyboard... it came from China and it shipped on 9 April, I received it on 12 April and was charged on my cc on 12 april as well. See my bank is a bit slow and there was no preauth on that either. (which is uncharacteristic of my bank) Thanks for the recommendation to read the Wi-fi shipping posts. Hears to smooth deliveries!:D

I got three authorizations on my credit card before my wifi ever shipped.

It's not negative vibes, you're just factually wrong and there are a zillion threads on this already.
 
Very weird.... I checked my status this morning on a 64 GB 3G (orderd the first hour of availability) and there was no change. Just checked it 3 minutes ago and it shows no orders.

Hmmmm....

that's happened to me and did you go in through the site - account - and put in your email/password. I get the same message you do sometimes it is there and sometimes it is missing. Not sure why but I found if you got through the email that you got about still getting your shipment by end of april (most people got that today or yesterday) and use the link there and put in your order number with your zip code - I have had such great luck that way for whatever reason... good luck.
 
Also, if you could post your credit/debit card number, security code, and expiration date...that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Ah yes, good times. And we're going to go through it all again, only this time we'll have some recent experience to reassure people with. (I was one of the people freaking out so I understand.)

I just called Discoverer and my card was charged TODAY:D:D:D:D...wonder if that is why my account went dark?

Very good times indeed! I read every post in that thread, lol. I also was one of the people freaking out because I didn't get my shipping notification until much later than everyone else, but I was quietly freaking out here at home just reading what everyone else was posting.
 
When I got home from my Monday night road bike ride my wife said there was a long message from Bank of America Fraud Detection Department on the voicemail. Had to spend 5 minutes playing pingo-pango on my iPhone to get to the point of verifying the last three transactions on my account.

The first from the nice robot...a drum roll please....$782.77 from Apple Online Store. Doing my happy dance now! :D

And of course since I am on Spring Break, if they ship this week you will have me to calm everyone's nerves too ;)

Of course, I hope they don't ship on Thursday, as I am riding along with my local ambulance agency from 9AM-5PM :-\

Techdude! I've been wondering how you were. Did the iPad prove to be as exciting for you as the shipping drama? (<3 mine)

Folks, this is the guy you want around when the tracking numbers hit the street.
 
I'm glad to see everyone is seeing their items shipping. I had my order in less than 2 minutes after they went on sale for pre-order and nothing so far. :confused:

I had to call my card company to ask about the charge; it was not on my online account. Can you still access your order status?
 
i ordered on 4/14 and i dont see a charge on my Suntrust account. I see priority shipping on the order status and ive got the email earlier this morning. Hopefully something turns up in my account tomorrow
