[Merged] iPad 3G Ship Rumors

Mine is also out for delivery. I think I read that it is express but I cannot recall! I got a call a little while ago from Fedex re: the need for signature (it was a recording).

I'm glad I was home today because I just got to run outside and help someone catch their dog. The dog was very excited running around, jumping on bigger dogs and running in the road. It could have been a disaster but luckily was ok :) I caught him so now I feel good :)
 
Somehow I got ripped off. I preordered mine on March 30th and mine says it's in China. F my life.:(

Mine went straight from sitting at the sort facility to being at my door. Fedex never posted that it was out for delivery. Staring at my new syncing iPad 3G right now.
 
Mine did the same thing, where it started out in Rancho Cordova, then went to Oakland, then reappeared in Rancho Cordova, and then back in Oakland again. But now it's at the Dest Sort Facilty in Reno. Since it's only 7 AM here, I figure it will show as Out for Delivery in the next hour or so.

I use a UPS Store for my address, and they tend to get their Fedex shipments around 10 AM, so I'm hopeful it will show up as delivered around that time. We'll see, though. Seems like the more you want something, the longer it takes to arrive. :)

Woot! Mine was at the local facility but not yet on the truck. I called FedEx to have it held. Just picked it up and am about to unbox. Yippee!
 
Did anyone else get one with a front facing camera. I can't figure out how to use it. Do you have to download Skype?

Ugh

no change in FedEx tracking overnight --- only shows "Shipment information sent to FedEx" still.

Bornblind is right...they will leave your package if you complete the pre-sign form. However, there have been instances when a driver won't leave the package...he/she doesn't understand or know about the pre-sign option.
 
"by 10:30 AM" has come & gone for my Camera Connection Kit. I was hoping to get my iPad 3G as well by 10:30.

Geez... does the 3 PM supersede the earlier time in FedEx's mind?

I've had that happen a bunch with other stuff. They don't always update the status quickly.
 
Mine has been out for delivery since 8:30!

I have class at 11... :( So I'm sure I'll have to wait til after then.
 
FEDEX Delivered: On Schedule 30 April 2010

My 3G 32GB WIFI was delivered to me at approximately 10:45am here in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

I placed my order on 13 March 2010 @ 7:49am.

All that is left to do is set it up.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend. It should be fun.

FedEx delivery an Amazon package to me yesterday at 1:39 PM. I'm thinking mine won't show up until after lunch.

However, if it shows up earlier, I'll surely sign for it and accept the delivery. :D
