My beloved is at the local FedEx facility, about 15 minutes away, trying to pry them from the hands of the local couriers. 
I was getting DD ready to go out the door for the carpool when DH (who works nights, so normally doesn't get up till 1 or 2 p.m.) got up and starting brushing his teeth. I KNEW immediately what he was going to do -- I had sent him an email last night about the plan of someone on here, to have it held at the local distribution center. I said that would be a grand plan, except that we have rotten luck, so somehow it would be interpreted: "Ohhhhhh, we thought when you said HOLD IT HERE, you meant, 'Send it back to Cupertino!'"
So DH came downstairs, put on his shoes, and left out the back door to go to his car, while DD went out the front to go to school.
Weird morning.

Mine is finally at the local FedEx facility, after an inexplicably long ride from Indianapolis. Not on the truck yet, though. Usually FedEx delivers here around 11 or 12, but I don't know if it will make it by then if it's not on the truck yet.

Seems totally bizarre to me that they'd ship to Ann Arbor from California, at pretty much the last second. Note the departure time - the plane didn't leave until just before 10:00pm Michigan time!

+1, but that's OK - confused me the first time I had to travel there for work (me: so I'll need to grab my passport, coworker: uhhh, no...)
Actually, that is Ontario California. FedEx has a distribution center there.

I'm on my way to school to sit in psychology for fifty long, boring minutes. Then I have to take an extremely difficult microbiology exam. But afterwards, mine should be at work, since our FedEx guy comes at 10:30AM every day. And my iPad is on his truck!
