I also have auto-lock screen set to 5 minutes so i always left it to lock by itself just to get the most out of the battery. Well at night i used about 15% brightness.

Well just did my test. My battery lasted 10 1/2 hours at 8% left. I used the Internet browser, YouTube, iPod, Ibooks, played a game, watched tv shows on the ABC app. And probably more than that but I can't remember. But honestly the battery is amazing. Oh and the brightness was set at half way. And push notifications were turned off at 50% battery life.

Just wanted to update, So my iPad is still going strong after 3 full days! Battery currently on 26%.
Didn't use it today though but i did last night for more then an hour.

incredible! i donno how tf you are getting that sort of battery life when others are getting only (only?) 10hrs. they must have brightness up/wifi on etc.
I have WiFi on all the time, brightness at night is on 15% and in daylight i bump it to about 80%.. I bet even if i use it in bed tonight for an hour or so browsing and watching a show on the ABC player it will just about last until the morning

im very sceptical on the multitasking part though, can you open say 2 tabs in safari, hit the home button and then go to your ABC player to watch, then switch back to safari again and continue browsing? or is it 1 application at a time only?

Yeah once a month i fully discharge, and yes you can listen to iTunes and surf the web and have apps open.

What about if I want to have an office word type application open as well as a pdf/ppt? I take it that its the same scenario?
