Montreal (Ste-Catherine) and Laval both had stock today of all sports and black leather loop (42 large)

Picked up a green and blue sport for my 42 ss

Limited amount of sports bands in both 38mm and 42mm at the Apple Store Eton, Beachwood, Ohio. All colors...but very limited.

Some sports bands of each color were available in the Arden Fair store for anyone in the Sacramento area . Don't take employees' word for availability - over the phone, one of them stressed they had not gotten any yet

If calling a store what should I say in order for them to check inventory?

Just ask the person who answers if they have the band(s) that you are seeking in stock. Easy as that, I called 12 or 14 stores yesterday looking for the link bracelet and each store was happy to check.

Jacksonville, FL

Very limited watch bands when I stopped by the Jacksonville, FL location at the St. Johns Town Center.

All I saw were sport bands (in blue and black), and only 38mm. They had shelf space for other bands - but it looks like it was sold out.

Anyone been able to pick a band up in the U.K in store?

I was in the Westfield @ White City earlier, and they had limited availability of Sports straps in the 38mm size. The girl I spoke to suggest Selfridges or Dover Street Market as the best places to try.

Just stopped by the Greenwich Avenue Apple Store (Greenwich, CT) and they only had some sport bands (black and white mostly, in both sizes) also a few classic buckle plus leather loop (only in black, size Large).

Seems like they are trickling in to the store, but don't last long.

I would call the same stores at different times too. 2 or 3 times with different people should give you a good idea,

But it really seems like one of those luck of the draw things and being in person standing in front of them also helps put the pressure on them.

You're lucky! none of the people i asked bother to check their iphone or the back, just tell me all they have is sport or whatever is on the shelf.

I guess, it really grinds my gears with how secretive they are with it. Everyone wants em so put em out and let the people decide. I feel like it is just certain managers with a power trip and every store probably has stock. Won't matter in a few months when these bands are a dime a dozen and you're able to score good quality returns on eBay for half the cost, just like their precious leather cases. ;)

Yes I bought my 38 mm Milanese loop band from Selfridges after calling the Westfield Stratford store.

I was just there and they had only the blue sport band in 38mm and the limited selection of other bands were all 42mm. They had white sport and classic buckle and leather loop all 42mm.

Went to the Soho store again, got the Classic buckle. You gotta go to the store and ask a specialist that look nice with a smile that willing to help. I've been to the store twice before non of the specialist i asked bother to check their iphone for accurate inventory.

True. I went to the South Coast store on my lunch and asked the Apple Watch person doing appointments if they had any bands in stock and she said they only have sport bands on hand. I asked another "genius" and he said the same thing.

Then I saw a guy come from the back and walk towards the sport bands and I asked him. Jackpot! He was able to look at inventory on his iPhone and he came back out with a Classic Buckle. He said they also had Leather Loops in the back.

Today I went to the Tysons Corner (VA) store to look for a 42 ML. I spoke to a nice guy who proactively went to the back to check their inventory. I thought it was my lucky day, but unfortunately he came back empty handed and said they didn't have any.

We talked a little more and he said more bands are trickling in each day. He suggested I come back at the end of the week / beginning of next week because he's been told June 1 is when they should really start getting things in stock. Take that for what it's worth as he was vague, but he was super nice and I'll be looking forward to June 1.

Congrats! It is definitely a matter of how polite you are and which one you chose. ;)

I am in the UK and I ordered s classic Buckle Band band yesterday and it said 1-2 weeks delivery. Then two hours later it went to "preparing for dispatch" and this morning it's out for delivery so Apple must be shopping them from a warehouse or direct from the Apple retail stores.
