A series win is a series win, but I would sure love to see the Rangers drop some crooked numbers on the Astros in the next two games while cruising into the WS.

Having followed Schwarber through college and since, he was the one in the Phillies lineup that I feared - more that Harper. And the DBacks pitching has failed them miserably in this series...
They're coming home for 2 games now, and I have hope... but I also I fear it will be a short series...
Well, I guess I'm glad I didn't predict a Rangers sweep...

I'd be comfortable still predicting that. At the moment, the Phillies look truly unstoppable. If the Astros somehow get past the Rangers, they should get crushed in the WS anyway.
The Dbacks got a W today playing small ball. They managed to hold the Phillies hitters in check. Marte with the game winner.
Yes I was watching Gameday on the MLB app when Kimbrel blew the save. Good for the Diamondbacks, looks like we will get some competitive Championship series after all.
Astros won again today and took the series lead...

EDIT: I'm told that the homer tonight moved him past Mr October, Reggie Jackson for most post-season HRs ever by a left-handed hitter... Have to give him his due.

Rangers fight back, we will have a deciding game 7 between the Rangers and the Astros. A proper series, none of this sweep nonsense!
I really wanted both PHI and TEX to sweep!!
Of course, I at least wanted a TEX sweep too lol. As long as they win tonight I'll be happy.
