That's a bad man right there 👇. Congrats to the Rangers and on behalf of everyone who despises the Astros, a sincere thank you!

This popped up in my mlb app, I really enjoyed the article. Sometimes a bit of obscure knowledge can be fun…

I’m by no means a MLB fan, but I used to call The Twins my team, and I got dragged to a Astro-Twins playoff game, I hate the drive, the parking, the masses, the ridiculous food prices, the torture seats, lost a couple of octaves of hearing (because aI forgot my ear plugs), and to boot, the Twins lost, and although we’ve lived in Houston for 10 years, they have never been my team and they beat my former team! ;)

So with some revenge pleasure, I watched most of the of the Astros-Rangers playoff from the ultimate comfort of my home, and was thrilled last night when The Rangers stomped the Astros properly. I’m a bad fan. Actually I hate what major league sports has become, huge Corpo $$$.

Can’t disagree with any of this. I’m almost 75, and have zero interest in going to these games in person. I root from home. Baseball is ok. Football is noise to fill a Sunday afternoon. NBA? No, just no.

I hate crowds and despise the corporate greed. Grown men playing kids’ games for millions of dollars and billionaires begging municipalities to build lavish palaces for their benefit.

And one more thing: Get off my lawn!

Back in the good ole 90's, in Minneapolis (Metrodome), used to be able to get MLB seats in Left Field with a drink and a hot dog for $12... 🤔
