http://www.mac.com comes up as ".Mac will soon be MobileMe". I can't access anything that I usually could there. How is it still up for some folks (not that I care, just curious)?

Done, all mobileme stuff is done included my signatures have been updated to show me.com. Still the outgoing mail server is still listed a mac. I dont want to update it myself because i did that earlier today and my mail wouldn't go out. I guess i can try it and see if it works. just replace the smtp.mac.com:username with smtp.me.com:username

Any harm in installing before it is 'official?'

Don't be surprised to find Apple legal, wearing gas masks, busting though your windows, shimmying down ropes from a black-hawk hovering above your house and confiscating your Mac.

Hey, I knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy that it happened to his great uncle's half-brother.

Very nice.

Bill: What's that?
Steve: It's an iHouse
Bill: But there's no windows!
Steve: Exactly!

is there such thing as itunes X? i found it in the XML

I believe that "iTunesX" is just the name of iTunes for OS X. If you look at the distribution file for iTunesX linked to in the catalog, you can see that it refers to iTunes 7.6.2.

Also, if you check out /Library/Receipts, you're likely to see iTunesX.pkg there, since it's been installed with the system (and/or updated to 7.6.2).
