https://eclecticlight.co/2018/06/01/whats-in-the-high-sierra-10-13-5-update/
==========================================
Other significant updates include:
- /Library/WebServer has been extensively updated
- /System/Library/Accessibility
- /System/Library/Accounts
- ManagedClient
- Photo Library Migration Utility
- most, if not all, kernel extensions have been replaced
- many public and private frameworks have been updated
- many tools in usr/bin and /usr/sbin have been updated
- eficheck, and its Allow List has been substantially updated to reflect EFI firmware updates.
Perhaps that last item could do with some looking at.

Today's news clinched it for me. I'm going to completely skip the 10.13.5 update.
Presumably, 10.13.6 will be the last release. Then we will have something to work on without
having to worry about further High Sierra bootROM upgrades.
I have NVMe M.2 booting quite nicely in a Fusion drive setup in Sierra 10.12.6 which does everything
I need for my day to day work.
Gilles, dosdude1 etc. will surely come up with a new way to inject DXE into 10.13.5.
I truly feel for
zozmester but at least his install might serve as a test bed for Gilles to try out solutions
