What bothers me most is that when I browse recommended playlists on Apple Music and only see thumbnails of albums and song titles. It does not show artists and there is no option to change the view (blind spot). My playlists display correctly. The Music app (iOS 16 beta) is working fine.
Same issue I have come to find out about

Dear Apple;

Please give us our beloved iTunes back. If you want to incorporate music streaming into that, then fine… or have a separate app for just that, but please return and leave iTunes in tact… that digital asset manager formally known as iTunes was invaluable to those who take their music libraries seriously and want to maintain a home entertainment system.

Thank you for listening!

Choose Other… and then Enable All Applications
Great this worked, thanks for the help!

I’m now finally up and running on macOS Monterey after years on Montery, the upgrade has been great, my computer is even faster than on Mojave and iTunes still works! I haven’t even launched the music app and don’t intend to either 😝

Music on B6 isn't able to connect to the store. Ugh! Can't use my library.

UPDATE: Now working, didn't do anything so maybe I had an internet issue.

I miss iTunes so much. Even ran pretty well on PCs until the last couple versions.

Anyone else having issues on the latest Beta?

Just upgraded and holy crap, nothing is playing in apple music. Anything that needs to stream just immediately skips to the next track like a file isnt found.

edit: some things are working again, maybe false alarm...

I have a similar prob here... latest beta of Ventura with local library of mp3s. It plays at first, then at some point, trying to double click a different song/album and it just sits there doing nothing, progress bar comes up with song but doesn't move or play. Jumping around to try playing different things... most don't work but sometimes something WILL play. Can't figure out any rhyme/reason to the pattern. I have to reboot to get it working again. I'm getting so so tired of this ******** of an app, and with the news about the Super Bowl sponsorship wondering how in the world apple can claim music as a strength when they can't get this right after how many years? Such a basic function that EVEN IN BETA should still play. meh. Guess I'll listen to Spotify till next beta and try again :-(

Just got a second (?) update for b9 and now I'm up to date with 132 as well. I'm guessing it was a second update, because I had tons of window server crashes with my first b9 install.

Just update to the latest Beta version, 22A5365d, Ventura. All my Apple music has disappeared. I have logged in and out, to ensure the correct Apple Id & passwords are correct. Account will not be recognized. Is anybody else having a similar problem on their mac?

All my music on my iPhone 12 is there, playlists, albums etc.

This is now resolved. I log out of Apple ID. Reinstalled the update, the log back into Apple ID. All my music back now.
Hopefully just a blip.

I'm on the same build on an M1 MBP and am having no issues loading my Music Library.

Can anyone with the latest Ventura check if a bug from Monterey still exists for me?

With "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" checked, can you try going to the mini player with ⌘⇧M and see if the song name appears.

On Monterey, the keyboard navigation setting highlights the airplay button, so the song title never appears:

You need to shift tab to have it show up.
