My Apple TV has shipped

Sitting in Hong Kong?

My tracking info still says that it is sitting on Hong Kong. The delivery date is still set for September 30. Anyone else have this as their status?

Argh, ordered 9/1 first "delivery date" was by 10/1 just changed to 10/5.
Will be sad if they're in stores before pre-orders are delivered.

I have access to Tier 1 FedEx IPD because of my job. Just some info for everyone.

ALL of these shipments from Apple are scheduled for delivery the day after the package clears customs in Anchorage. Delivery dates are a computer generated pile of nonsense until the package gets through customs.

Mine never went through Anchorage. It went straight to Memphis for it's international release.

Same here. This is the first Apple product I've gotten from Shenzhen that has skipped Anchorage and headed straight to Memphis. According to FedEx it should be here tomorrow!

Just because it wasn't scanned doesn't mean it wasn't there. It might have just missed the soft scan.

Yep same here. I'm in Atlanta. It takes a week to get here from China? That's very un-Fedex like. My friend's iPhone left China on 9/1 and reached Toronto by 9/3 at noon! FedEx rocks.

Mine too, FedEx says the 5th, Apple's email said the 4th. With the iPhone 4 Apple's e-mail said the day before FedEx and it came when Apple had said.

I ordered on the 9/3 and just got shipment notification. Apple is estimating 10/4 to California, but FedEx is saying 10/1. I hope FedEx is on time.

Mine too but I wouldn't worry too much. Plenty of times this happens and then 2 hours later it's 3 towns over. Also, it's just an Apple TV.

Does anyone recall when we ordered if it said "Ships by September" Or "Delivered by September". I have a feeling it said Ships, so there's no reason for us to get mad if we get it Oct 4 or 5th. Darn!
