btw is it possible to download official 227 version from anywhere still?
OPs method confirmed works for those that installed 247 btw.
I:
- installed 247 from Cydia (before I realised it was unhackable)
- installed 227 from the .deb above over the top of that (without explicit uninstall of 247)
- Manually overwrote the warning.caf with the one provided by OP
- Manually changed localization.strings with the suggested new LANGUAGE_ID
works perfectlyno warning tone
What am I doing wrong? I downloaded the deb (and installed) from limneos.net/repo.
Next I went through the PayPal purchase step and the app became licensed. It works, but it plays the warning. Where do I download the version that I install on top, to remove the warning?
Well now, I have a dilemma. Just went to Cydia to the limneos repo and it wants me to update to v. 247. What are the instructions on this one? It is working fine now so I hate to make any changes.![]()
Thanks for the advice. And, thanks for all your work!!Wait a bit - hopefully I'll release the new "muted" version soon (in, say, an hour).

In the meantime, just use 227. Do NOT update - yet.
(As with all Cydia apps, you can disable the auto-update in the Cydia page of the app.)
Done. I mean the hacking.
Elias has definitely strengthened the mute protection - added the CRC's to callrecorder.dylib as well.
I will VERY soon release the muted version of 247 - stay tuned!!!!

Thanks for this update ! Thumbs up !
Np!
Feel free to tell me if you encounter any problems with the new version.
I installed the deb through iFile on a "virgin iPhone 5" (never installed any version of Audio Recorder before). Don't see anything about Audio Recorder in my Settings app. What should I be looking for?
