Hehe... well now you have confirmation that it works on a virgin phone ;) Thanks!

BTW, is there an option to un-mute it?

Nope.

Unfortunately, the manual way of doing this has become harder now that the dylib file should also be changed, along with the two resource files. That is, I can't even promise to write a manual toggle any more, unlike with the previous versions.

Just say loudly "Yo man, I'm recording you so keep talking ! "

Haha! That'll have to work. I sometimes like the official sounding "YOU WILL BE RECORDED" for creditors and the like. It's funny how they won't talk to YOU if THEY are being recorded ;)

Menneisyys2, Thank You for your efforts. I have bought the tweak from Limneos and installed your deb and it works perfectly. :)

Works for new install on iPhone 5, but you need to turn off BEEPS cause recipient can hear them every 5 seconds. It's weird cause I can't hear them on my end.

Thanks.

Is it enabled by default now? I update the original post with a warning.

Menneisyys2, First, thanks for your great work with this!
What is the difference between version 227 and 447? Are there features added?
I downloaded and purchased the official 246, then installed official 227 over it. Then your 227 over that. Works great.
Can I just install your 247 over that now, through Ifile?
Can I then delete older downloads listed in Ifile?

Thanks for the help!

Nope, it seems. The compatibility hasn't been improved either - that is, it, for example, still doesn't support wired / BT headsets on the iPhone 5 / 4S or the earpiece on the 4S.

Yes.

The DEB files can always be deleted after installation. Uninstall information (e.g., the postrm file or the file listing all the files to be deleted) is stored elsewhere in the file system.

In the midst of watching the Masters I installed v. 247 right over v. 227 and applied the Op's deb file. Works perfect. Thanks again for all your work Menneisyys!!

I don't know if this is related but I have disable call recorder and when I'm on calls with people and hit "mute" on my iphone 5, the callers can still hear me! This is embarrassing obviously. Any ideas what's wrong here??

backup call recorder files

Hi, I read the earlier tutorial on how to back up the files in the folder "Ultimate Call Recorder". As we all know, the in and out files are separate. I have checked out Audacity to xplore merging the files. However, it appears like the merger can only be done individually on per call basis.
i'm someone who makes like 50 calls a day. It will be cumbersome to keep doing this all the time. Also, I don't know how to paste the metadata to the merged file. My question is, is there a way where we can do a batch merge of all files in the folder "Ultimate Call Recorder" and still maintain the metadata from the SQLite?
any help will be much appreciated. and btw Menneisyys2, fantastic job on your end !!!!

Will look into this. Hope I can come up with a command-line solution.

Just checked - the same problem is here (latest DEB file). It also happens when the recorder is enabled but it's in manual mode and not recording. Hope the dev comes up with a fix. In the meantime, just auto-record everything and just delete the recordings you don't need afterwards. This way, you'll be able to use the mute icon.

So there is no way to get mute working again with the app disabled? I get a lot of calls so don't want it recording every one. IS my only choice then to delete the app? It's strange since I have it disabled that mute still doesn't work.

It's only by deleting it that mute will work - or, as I've explained above, by constantly auto-recording everything.

don't have twitter., If you get a chance, please tell them. Thanks again for all the help

Muting doesn't work unless Call is being recorded

Does anyone know how to fix the issue where Muting doesn't work unless Call is being recorded? When I make a call and decide not to record it, I mute the phone, but the other party can still hear me. The Mute function seems to kick in if I begin recording the call.

Any thoughts?
