I don't know, talk to the reviewer who, I believe was in NJ who stated that yahoo.com took two minutes.
I am in NYC on verizon's EV-DO network, and my coworker has a Pearl with EDGE. It is no contest speed-wise. It is like a broadband connection versus a dialup.
You sure those web pages weren't cached![]()
I have not been to Yahoo in years, I prefer Google. I live in Atlanta and have used Verizon and Cingular (both with Blackberrys) and I also have a 3G Cingular phone for when I ride the motorcycle. I can tell you there may be a slight difference in my page loading speed but it IS NOT as nutty as folks are making it sound. There are COUNTLESS variables that can effect EDGE, 3G or EV-DO to where it is almost comical that it is being made such an issue.
Anyone here have a Samsung Blackjack or heck, even a Motorola Q...?
If so, how is that battery treating you these days.. are you even getting a day out of it.
3G needs time. Trust me, this is my industry.
