I ordered on March 22. Originally scheduled to deliver April 4-8. Just got an email with delivery now scheduled for Friday March 29! Computer was picked up by FedEx in Shanghai, China!

I ordered i9 8core with 1tb ssd and Vega 48 on 3/20, and it is due to be delivered 3/28, Thursday via UPS. The ram I ordered from OWC was delivered yesterday.

Mine has left Japan enroute to ANC now. I managed to rework some things and changed the date to Friday instead of Monday for delivery.

It has updated to Monday! I was hoping it would update further since it’s already on its way out of China. Dang the weekend is killing me.
My i9 with Vega 48 is out for delivery. Will (hopefully) arrive in a few hours. It’s configured with 8GB RAM and the third party memory will arrive later this week. Doh :/ I chose the express delivery option when ordering 
Maybe Apple ran out of SSDs If I select an iMac (doesn't matter which one) they are all available for pickup from an Apple Store in my region from today, but as soon as I add an SSD option, the pickup date slips to April 9th

For some reason there was no expedited delivery option for me. Maybe because it was through the education store? I totally would have paid $9 to get it here before the weekend.

Aha! I was wondering why my date changed so much between orders. I got the SSD too. Figures. That was the most important upgrade for me.Maybe Apple ran out of SSDs
Really? I even called them and they said it wasn’t an option for this order. It’s so weird.
I think they have to physically pull one off the line and remove/add/replace the BTO options, making it a manual process which slows things down.
I ordered and SSD, and after checking my order 4-500 times over the last few days, it's finally moved to 'preparing to ship'
No actual date though. I'll keep checking.
Fun fact: I'm in the same scenario but since my order got pushed to next week I don't see "express delivery" in my order overview anymore...
Will be very interesting to see how well it copes with cooling that 8 core i9!
My 2017 struggles with cooling the 7700k - so unless they've done some magic with the heatsinks/fans I imagine we may run into some issues.
