From what you have heard, from who? Other people who post on here trying to speculate? lol
It is either October 16th/17th - which we will know by the end of tomorrow if invites go out or not or October 30th, which invites will go out 23/24th. October 23rd/24th is out for the actual event because Tim Cook is traveling. October 30th actually makes sense as it is right before the financial earnings call and after the launch of the iPhone XR!
Pretty sure the 16th is no longer a possibility since it's less than a week away. The 18th is still a possibility if the invites actually go out today. I agree that the 23rd & 25th won't happen because Tim Cook has to be in Brussels on the 24th, even though my wife thinks he could be here on either of those days to do an Apple event. Sadly it's looking like a very real possibility that IF it happens this month it's going to likely be the 30th or even 31st. Depressing.
I love comments like yours. You don't back it up with anything, dismiss some indicators like clues in iOS dev versions etc. and just make a such a bold statement. No follow up why or anything. Just come in, drop the crap and leave.
So, here is my proposal. You either reason why so we can debate it and you sound credible or you just don't say it at all.
I have no clue whether or not we will have an event this month (or next) but from all the indications, clues, rumors etc. it is more likely there will be one than not. It would be also logical as there is a plenty of products that need to be updated and its Xmas soon so Apple would want to refresh at least some of their line because otherwise we really got almost nothing this year.
So, instead of being an arse, please join in with some sense and reason. I'm sure everyone would appreciate that rather than the ******** you posted! Thank you
Take it as a positive - we are narrowing down the window of the event - the last week in October is looking prime for the event! I am think invites are going out October 23rd for an October 30th Event. New hardware will be in stores November 9th.
Ugh...I sure hope this doesn't actually happen because it would mean yet another month before they are actually released. Sick of this waiting game already.
You would think they would want more sales to make up for the lackluster phone sales. This last quarter didn't really have any great product releases other than watches.

Apple A12X Processor
We can confirm that this new iPad will have a new A12X processor, an even faster version than the A12 processor found on this year’s iPhone models. This new processor will also include an even more powerful A12X GPU, according to sources. The processor’s part number is T8027 and its codename is Vortex, as seen in earlier reports.
Don't know where they are getting this info but just putting it out there..hoping for an October release if this is indeed true

A little confused by this, my iPad Air 1 is automatically updating to iOS 12.1 as Im typing this.
EDIT: Doh! It’s actually 12.0.1, not 12.1. Move along folks, nothing to see here.

I'm not diminishing your desire for 1TB but couldn't you fit an absolute boatload of movies into 512GB?
In 2016, the article RE: Media invite was published at 1:03 pm PDT. We're right about there now. If it doesn't come out soon, I think it's safe to say it will be happening at the end of the month. Although in 2014, it was published at 9:04 am PDT...
While tomorrow could be a possibility for an event next Thursday, Apple has never sent out invites for October events on Thursday before. The two prior October events that happened on Thursday had invites sent out the week prior on Wednesday. Not looking good for next week at all. Guess the best bet is for the 30th....if it happens at all this month. Friggin' Apple...
It would be great if they at least said WHEN the iPad will be coming out..so far its just what it will have not WHEN it will come out..so still taking this with a grain of salt how reliable is 9To5Mac as far as rumored releases?
I think you’re overreacting a little bit. Just a little bit, though. I was only told that the ipad pro won’t be coming in october. We can reason and discuss all day long. I’m just reporting stuff. It doesn’t really matter who told me, as you wouldn’t have a way to verify. I can only say that the person who said this to me normally knows what he’s talking about.
Is the person who told you in any way connected to Apple? And knows the actual plans? Or is he just guessing
