It’s too bad that Tim Cook committed to giving that speech in Brussels on the 24th. At first I thought it was a good thing because surely they would have the event pushed up to next week, but sadly I’m pretty sure the opposite happened.

I’m not too bummed myself, as the week of the 22nd I’m travelling (in Europe no less) and would be tough to catch the keynote live.

Personally I think keynotes are rather pointless and wasteful. I would rather just see press releases and just let us know when we can make our purchases. Dragging things out for the sake of dragging them out isn’t fun at all.

The keynotes always show what Apple wants us to see, but are not the full picture. I prefer the video reviews, but to be honest, Apple make the best presentations. Just look at the Google one...
Excited for the next iPad pro, hopefully in October!

I really like the events, we get to see the products. With the iPad Pro getting a redesign there is no way Apple won’t hold an event to show them off, also the new Mac’s. If nothing is sent out today I think the event will be on the 30th with invites going out the week before. There will be new products at some point this year, Apple won’t just leave the iPads and Mac’s without updates, especially after they updated the MacBook Pro’s earlier this year.

Well Mac and iPad sales are down, so they need to do something to excite people. Plus they have to please investors and the board; they can’t only release 3 new products this year, when they have 17+ different devices and services that bring in a chunk of their yearly income.

True, the ipads are clearly expecting an update with that A12(X) and that redesign, so it is a must have for Apple, because they will make some profit from that alone...again the mac mini update after 4 years will bring some money and will make a lot of people happy for those who wants those 8th/9th gen Intel with usbC/TB3, i think this will be the greatest update in performance because of the lack of the update...we are looking at probably 2 or 3 times faster in cpu and gpu
the iMac, if they make a redesign with a better cooling inside to make those i7 and i9 not throttle and keep the imac quiet it will be a nice update and seller as well...
Again, this year the apple watch 4 was the only big announcement , they need at least 1-2 more products

Yea, it would be unprecedented for Apple to just announce the iPhone's and Apple Watch Series 4, the iPad Pro's are coming and so are the updates to Mac's. It's just a matter of when, but i guess we will find out soon enough. I may be wrong BUT i don't think Apple have ever hosted a November keynote for product announcements.

Also Geskin has just uploaded this, looks like we may be getting new AirPods as well :) IF true i will be upgrading mine, i love them and would jump at the chance of getting an updated version.

Update: FAKE https://9to5mac.com/2018/10/11/2018-airpods/ :(

Correct, while there have been product releases in November, Apple has never waited until November to have an event before. Guess there’s always a possibility of a first though. Hope not.

Okay. I really didn’t want to get to this point but, maybe, I can do something good by writing a proper response.

Let us recap: I wrote a comment. A very simple comment reporting what a friend of mine told me a couple days ago. You jumped in accusing me of I don’t even know what, for no reason whatsoever. Now, either your life depends on the ipad pros being out in october or you have a problem.

I don’t really know what’s the nature of your problem, nor am I interested in investigating it. I just want to make sure that you understand that your reaction was inappropriate other than unwarranted.

I rest my case: get a life.
Please re-read what happened here starting with you. Then please notice the reaction of others and then please come back to this message above and think again whether or not its adequate. Well, I assume you are fairly intelligent person and can realize why this conversation happen.
On the other hand, if you are a troll then its ok. We can just leave it here and move on as nothing productive will ever come out of a troll so pick your side.
a) smart person that will come to senses and understand why this happened
b) troll - lets move on.

Here is a little hint - the only person that has got a problem here is YOU!

And if you are option A) then you will soon realize why. Its that simple

Like i said earlier, stop chasing that guy...last year i made a bet with him that not iphonex or even xs will not come in "his leaks" on coral colour , and guess what? i won, only the XR comes in this colour

This month announcement with release to costumer next month

Announcements coming later today...fingers crossed! Otherwise October 30th it is.

‘If’ the new iPad Pro’s (and perhaps other products) are ready to go, then I can’t see Apple (or any other company) passing up the biggest, most profitable sales time of the entire year, the Holidays, in favor of a boring March time release.

Early November is pushing it but not too late for Black Friday and Christmas.
