Well, sure, but them wanting to host a Special Event without the CEO and de facto showrunner instead of just waiting a week isn’t within the realm of what I consider to be plausible.

I'd say the bigger issue is them wanting to keep all the press focused on the iPhone Xr launch. so any event and likely any announcement will be after that opening weekend.

I kind of regret selling my 10.5" iPad Pro a month ago as not having it has been a letdown. It was my go to device for pretty much everything (aside from working) and I sold it only because of the hype of the next gen Pros coming out. I didn't sell it because I had a problem with it, no, none at all.

You think thats bad? I sold my 9.7" pro in May, thinking the new ones would be announced at WWDC. Yup. Miss using it constantly.

Well I really hope we aren’t waiting until November for an announcement...

All signs point to Oct 30. The obvious one is the earnings call on Nov 1. Remember that Apple has to give guidance for the next quarter. Those numbers would reveal their release plans if they plan to release a new iPad and a bunch of Macs in November. They can’t pretend they aren’t releasing things with earnings estimates and make them artificially low, so it would be obvious.

Yea i think we will see new iPad Pro's and Mac's at an event on the 30th or 31st November. We might also see some accessories such as new Apple Pencil, AirPods and maybe even the Airpower.

I want to say what I wish would happen, (but if I do I know the universe will meddle and make it not happen, lol.)
With Apple almost seemingly dragging this iPad, iMac, AirPods, and MacBook Air thing out... I am really starting to think 2019 is when the pros are released. Or if they released this year, I feel Apple will pull an iPad Pro 2017 situation and not put in the incredible A12X, and instead throw in the A11X, (it would not be slow by any means but it would be frustrating to have another iPad Pro with last gen tech,)
Then again, if the rumors are true about it getting thinner and smaller, that wouldn’t make sense as IF the iPads are getting thinner and smaller, having a 7nm chip is much more realistic than the 10nm A11.
*end random thought tangent.*

Anyways I’m literally waving the money in my hand waiting to give it to Apple for these supposed new iPad Pros, but I’m getting nervous that we won’t see them this year.

I can’t see this happening, both because of the Mark Gurman article in early September about ‘those familiar with the plans’ saying they will come out in 2018, and also the reference to iPad2018Fall in iOS 12.1.

We just need patience and let’s see what happens in the next few days

I’m hoping they are announced soon.

And we'll all be here ready to unnecessarily analyze it for the whole week leading up to the announcement, lol.

Unless they throw a curveball and there are no invites or event  joking of course, I think it will be on the 30th. Looking forward to what Apple have to show for the new iPad Pro and Mac’s :D

When will we know if the invites have been sent? How will we know? This is getting ridiculous!
Because the media blasts it all over everywhere as breaking news. They do this every time Apple farts, multiple times a year.

I am assuming you meant Source? - I do not have one - but with the amount of leaks, the iOS 12.1 Fall iPad Code and the fact that the earnings call is November 1st. It's almost a certainty now that it will be October 30th. Invites out next Monday or Tuesday.
All of that has been known for months. With iOS 12 betas leaking images of the new iPad, case makers spoiling the new iPad and Pencil. Earnings calls are planned months in advance often years in advance. None of that changes anything or really alludes to anything. Invites will go out when Apple wants them to. All we know is it’s coming unless like AirPower, Apple decides that it’s not.

ios12 code name "Fall2018ipad" is a big indicator though
That’s old news. Not saying it isn’t coming out this year. All signs point to yes. But to say invites will be sent next week with no information and basing it solely on code that is news from a week ago is fundamentally flawed. Because with your thinking then invites should have gone out last week when that news broke.
