Just got the case yesterday and I sprayed 2 coats of kiwi all weather protector and now has a nice soft grip to the leather.

I love this case but I may return it. I find I'm more paranoid about this case than I am the phone for fear of water damage. Making sure to cover it when it rains, taking it off when i bath my daughter, etc. Kinda silly to do that when the phone itself is water resistant. The silicone or a similar case may be a better bet for me.

Midnight blue and black leather case for my 7 delivered today in 1 day. Feels great in hand. Specially with my sweaty hands hahah. Grip is not an issue for me

I feel like the bottom left of my case feels a bit loose compare to the right side. Any of you guys having this issue where one side is a bit loose fitting?

Do the creaks eventually go away after the leather breaks in? Has anyone experienced creaks that went away with the iphone 6 versions?

Just got my Storm Grey for my 7 Plus. Not slippery at all!

Is the camera cut out supposed to be perfect aligned? It seems like the distance between bottom of the cameras and the case is larger than the distance between the top of the cameras and the case. So it seems like the camera is closer to the top of the case. The lines and creases on the case does not bother me though.

The black one I returned had this problem, the cutout only just fit at the top while the bottom had probably double the space required, that and the slippery feel is why I returned it.

What case did you end up with?

Anyone who finds the Apple leather case slippery out of the box, give it a few days. It will get a lot better. IMHO best case you can buy.

I've had the saddle brown leather case for about two weeks. It's gotten a tad grippier, but still feels like a bar of soap. It's a very nice case, but feel like I need to be more careful with it. My ocean blue silicone will be my everyday beater case and the leather will be my occasional dress case.

I ordered the Sea Blue. At first, I was thinking of returning it for the brown leather, but from some of the pics I've seen here in this thread, I think I'm going to keep it.

For those who have the "Sea Blue" Case, any regrets?

I have the sea blue leather for 2 weeks now and I like it but not love it. It definitely has gotten a bit darker and is a tiny bit grippier but still slippery. I have a Black iPhone 7 Plus so the only thing I'm not sold on is the color combo for daily use. I'm not too flashy and tend to stick to boring cases and sometimes this one is a bit much for my liking. It's definitely a beautiful case but I think I'm going to purchase a storm grey for daily use and slip on the sea blue from time to time. Mine is also getting nice wear around the edges where it has these dark blue stains, I'm assuming from pulling it in and out of my pocket.

Thanks for the reply. Damn it. Now I'm not sure what to do. (But then again, I tend to be on the more "Flashy" side)

Hm. Today I received my 3 leather cases (black, saddle, sea blue) and the black and the brown ones show some quality issues; with the black one, there's a crooked camera cutout and sleep/wake button and the brown one shows creases on the bottom part.

Would you return them or just live with it? It's not like I'm super-ocd and I'll probably won't care in about a week or so, but I don't know if I should let them "get away" with those issues. Also, I probably need someone to encourage me that it isn't completely over-the-top to keep all three cases.

Return the problem ones and keep the good one. I had the black for a few days, it had creases, wonky camera cutout and was slippery so I returned it.

Definitely return it and make use of the 14 day return policy.

Last year I got a 6s Plus leather case which had really bad stretch marks on the back. Took it to an Apple Store and asked to see the case first before I exchanged.

I have a saddle brown this year but seeing all the pics of the sea blue I might need one *in case of emergency*

Stuck between Sea Blue, Storm Grey, and Red for a Jet Black Plus. Storm Grey was my first choice but then I saw Sea Blue and Red and thought about adding a pop of color. As of right now I'm stuck between those and a cocoa silicone case. Not sure I like Sea Blue or Red in silicone. My next option is a bumper but I like that I can hand my phone off and not worry as much especially with a silicone case.

It's funny because I didn't like the new leather cases when I saw them in person and have never been a huge fan of Apple's leather cases but the color options this year are growing in me.

Is anyone else finding that the front of the phone collects dust around the edge of the leather case?

I hardly used cases on my 6s so never really noticed if this is a common thing or not.
