I got the grey leather for usage with my iPhone 7 plus black and it looks great. I'll pass this to my fiancé once my jet-black arrives in about a weeks time and I've decided to go with the seablue leather.

can't wait to see some pics of the sea blue leather with the jet-black as well. delivery is on the 28th for mine.

if only apple had a matching apple watch strap.

They do have a Sea Blue leather band :)

Just ordered thank u :)

You're welcome! Now, where is my commission Apple?!?

Thank you to the poster who posted the Nomad leather case for the 7!

Came across the Nomad Saddle Brown strap with black buckles thanks to this thread. Loving it more and more than Apple's saddle brown strap!

Thanks for posting the photos, i really don't understand why that open gap on the Front is there near the lightning port, couldn't they have designed the case to fully cover the entire front? the hole on the BOTTOM obviously has to be there for the lightning port to connect to the phone but that whole section is like missing from the case and thats a design let down,

I think that is a deal breaker for me because otherwise i love the way the case looks and would definitely go and get it from best buy

I tried HoosBruce's coffee staining and I love it. I taped the inside off with painter's tape to preserve the felt then covered it in moist coffee grounds. I let it sit for about 4 hours and then gently brushed off the grounds with a paper towel and a soft toothbrush. It's currently drying, so it may dry a bit lighter. I'm considering getting some leather conditioner to rub in after it dries. Thanks again for the direction HoosBruce!

Can someone take a close up of the camera cut on the 7+ (installed)? I want to make sure the phone doesn't lay on the camera glass while the case is on.

I don't think you'd be able to put the case on without the cutout given the design of the phone and how the case fits.

That looks awesome! I'll post some more pics when I've been using it for a few days.

This wasn't my idea originally btw. I can't remember who it was but I give the credit to them haha!

Looks great man!
[doublepost=1474124124][/doublepost]For anyone looking for something that offers full coverage there's the Nomad leather case, just picked it up at Best Buy for 39.95 for the plus. Really nice, quality leather and snug fit.

Sweet! Going to return my Apple saddle leather one. This seems better for my JB because it covers the bottom more and the leather looks like its good quality.

Nomad has a gray color available on Bestbuy. Looks a little darker than the Apple one. Arriving Wednesday so I'll upload some photos then.

Looks great man! I wonder if this would work with instant coffee pellets lol

Only have a Nespresso and not a proper coffee machine :/

I don't know of any genuine leather case for the iPhone 6-7 that covers the entire bottom of the phone. If there is one I'd like to see it. Some also have a gap along the top edge too.

There's a reason for this. These cases are a tight fit (which I like) and it's hard to get such thin leather to stretch enough to go around the curved edges of the phone without some sort of gap somewhere. If you design it to cover the bottom then it will be really slack around the edges or you risk the area around the bottom snapping. This happened to a lot of iPhone 5 Apple leather cases and the iPhone 5 obviously has straight edges which means it doesn't need to flex as much when putting on or off. With rubber and silicon etc you can do it because these materials will stretch and flex without the risk breaking via stress fractures.

Wow I may have to try this. So you literally just soak some grounds and bury the case in there, let it sit overnight, and then wipe it down?

I see I've returned too late to really answer this as you've already done it

Any other way to get this look without coffee beans?

Yes. There are several techniques for aging and staining leather. I'm far from an expert on it but have done several items and iPhone/iPad cases over the last few years.

You can use stains like shoe polish, wine, coffee(just the coffee without the grounds), olive oil, leather oils(like for baseball gloves), etc.

You can also open up the leather and/or remove the sealers to get the stain to take a deeper hold. Lightly sanding, steam, acetone etc all help to get the stains in there and/or scuff up the look to help an aged effect.

Can be done on any color case really. Just depends on the final look you want.

That looks awesome! I'll post some more pics when I've been using it for a few days.

Thanks. That was me. Im not really a frequent flyer here so feel free to just share the ideas. No real credit needed

Has anyone seen/bought the Sea Blue? Thought that may look good with Jet Black. I'm personally leaning towards the Saddle Brown (which in its original form seems too bright) or the Storm Gray (which looks amazing!) - suggestions?

How do you prevent the coffee from staining your clothes/car seat/etc. Is it 100% non transferable after it dries?

Yes.

There is some opportunity to wipe out some excess while wet. But that is the nature of a "stain". Once it's dried it's stained that color. (Just like any other leather item....any of the other cases from Apple for example )

I am undecided whether to buy black or storm grey leather case for the matte black iPhone 7.
What do your recommend?
