Someone in the Apple community forums doing a Siri command to get this (and favorite mix if not showing) back. Ask Siri to "play My New Music Mix" which should do a "looking for My New Music Mix" and then start playing. They also said to get it back in the For You sections, play at least half of the list Siri starts. We will see if that works.

Still nothing back from tech support

UPDATE: listened to the entire list and it still does not show up in the For You section. Nor does it show under Recently Played in For You.

It's worked here. That is, it's a bug.

Really? Did you listen to the entire list? Does it now show in For You? Did it list as Recently Played in For You?

Yeah! I just asked Siri and that's it. Like magic (but it's a bug)! Thanks for the tip.

Quick update. Last week I received a call back from Apple Support. They left a message and said that it's a known issue and their engineers are working toward a solution. At best, I could expect to see it resolved in "a future update". I figured I'd see something with a new macOS or iTunes update. However, after checking today after not checking in a few days, both playlists are now back in "For You". I guess theres a known bug in their backend and they've figured out a way to clear out some cache/key or something. Hopefully it stays this time!

Thanks for the update. I'm gonna reach out to tech support today regarding my case. Just want him to know what's been reported here and a "possible" work around of using Siri.

Nothing new to ret.port. Still don't have it listed in Apple Music on my devices. Even asking siri to play it brings up a week's old list. Support has nothing to report

It's missing again for me. I feel like every other week it comes and goes. I'll try the Siri trick.

I was able to use Siri on both my Mac running 10.12.3 and iPhone running 10.2.1 to play "My New Music Mix". The mix doesn't show up in "For You" nor do I know when it updates (if memory serves me correct, every Friday).

Mine worked from Siri over a month ago - showed up in For You but since then when I use Siri for that I get the same new music list from a month ago and it no longer shows in For You. I just got an email from the senior tech support - sent another request to engineering for an update. There's been no movement on this issue since the 1st week of January for me. And yes that list updates every Friday, Favorite every Wednesday

This happened to me. My New Music Mix disappaered entirely and My Favorite Music Mix was still there but stopped updating.

Only thing out of the ordinary I can think of is that I added the mixes to my Playlist Library and later removed them. Not long after that is when I started having these issues. Did any of you do something like that too? Just trying to see if maybe there's a correlation...

Thanks for your input. My Favorites Mix still working as it should - updated today. I have never added any of those lists from the For You section to my library.

Gotcha. It's definitely some glitch on Apple's end then. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Mine is back as of 3/3... This is the second time it happened where it disappeared and then came back. Interesting to say the least!

I'm going to submit a ticket to Apple Support today, and I'll make sure I link to this thread. The more people complain about this, the more attention it'll get from Apple's engineers.

So I was looking through the Recently Played section under the For You tab and found the My New Music Mix in there. I added it to my library, so I can at least access it from there for now. It still hasn't shown up under For You, but it seems like it has at least been updated in the last week. My Favorites Mix hasn't been updated in 3 weeks.

I tried a similar thing..... even using Siri to call it up doesn't show in the Recently Played section. Sent an email to Apple for an update.

EDIT: Support said engineering is still investigating this and will update when they find something. Sounds like its not even on their radar. It will soon be time to pen a letter to T.Cook

Mine is gone again, after being back last week! New Music Mix was present up to Thursday if memory serves me correct. Seems like whenever it updates on Friday, it goes away. Then it randomly appears on Wednesday when the Favorites Mix updates (at least that's been the trend these past two weeks). What a load of crap. What happened to Apple building quality software? iTunes is a slow, giant mess.

Here's something strange with Siri. If on my iPhone I say "Play My New Music Mix" she says "Playlist My New Music Mix playing" and then it starts playing the 1st song in my library. If I do the same exact thing on my MacBook Pro (running latest MacOS and iTunes) it works correctly by playing the 1st song in the My New Music list. How can that be?

Just an update - Apple support still cannot resolve this issue. How unbelievable is that? I have asked the support contact to escalate this within the engineering dept. which they say is where it needs to be resolved. I don't know if others still have this but I do. Tim Cook will soon be getting a call. Apple is losing its luster among many of its faithful.
