Oh thank gawd! Finally! Have fun with it. :)

Michael

I'm about to go home and get it. Pretty excited not gonna lie. It seems like they realized it was cheaper for them to over night it to people versus refunding everyone their shipping cost.

Nothing but love for the Nexus 4 from Chris Pirillo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqHOcwzT5eY

"If you've experienced Android before, just put those experiences on the shelf whether you've loved Android or hated it... Android 4.2 on the Nexus 4 melts any kind of apprehension."

I really can't wait to order. Shame on Google for botching this launch. Could have been big, but is now marred by this horrible launch experience. And with Black Friday coming tomorrow, what a missed opportunity.

Sorry that you still don't have one, considering this was the thread that got me to go for one and YOU started the thread. :(

But WOW is that review gushing!

I'm loving the experience on this phone but wanting more from the battery. Thinking about getting the note 2 and rooting for the "nexus like" software experience. Sigh....

I havent missed my S3 so far, the N4 is as smooth, and TBH, as user friendly, I will have had the Nexus a week tomorrow, I like Touchwiz but I also like vanilla Android. If I had to pick one to keep now, it would be the Nexus. I am keeping an open mind though and will make my decision in about 3 weeks so that any "newness" has worn off.

Just happy people are enjoying Android for what it is. There's a world to discover coming from iOS. :)

I won't be far behind!

I'm enjoying my Nexus 4 and its going to be a very tough choice on keeping it or keeping my iPhone 5. There are various things I like about both platforms.

Curious if your GS3 has JB on it yet? Mine does now and its even better and a little faster now. However, with even more updates with JB which includes more weather updates and Google Now giving me updates on Maps when im out and road reports, ..the battery wears down just a bit faster.
It is not a significant difference at all but now i think im going to get the 2900mAh battery on eBay that i didnt get before. For only $9.95( they have gone down since i last looked) i actually get two of them and a wall charger. Wont need to get a bigger back cover, they will fit in the original. This is the big advantage of having a removable battery.

My plan is to get a Nexus 4, but hopefully a 32GB version. If that is not to be, well then it is not to be. Ill get a 16GB version. I will use it but will never sell it (since it is going to get the updates for a while) as it will eventually be my 2nd phone and when the Galaxy S4 comes out, i will sell my GS3 and get a GS4 if the overall phone isnt bigger than the GS3 which is rumored that it wont be.

There are bigger batteries for the GS3 that fit without a different cover or case?

Yes, we got Jellybean some weeks ago. This is going to be difficult for me, they are both superb phones, I like them both but am not rich enough to keep the two. Before these, I was always an Apple die hard and have had all from the 3Gs to the 5, again, all were superb, I just found it refreshing to go to Android, it was also good to find out that the old arguments about Android were not true, well as far as the two phones I have had are concerned. I also lust after a S4 if it isn't larger.

Yes and they are cheap. I got two which also comes with a wall charger for those batteries. Usually if it is too big for the original cover, they come with a bigger back cover/case like this

Or regular size batteries like this

I got this one

After getting multi view on the SGS3 I think I'm gonna wait for next year's nexus. I'm enjoying my SGS3 now more than ever, specially having 41GB for downloading new tv shows with torrents. And yesterday I found a new app outside the Google market that allows to download YouTube videos.

Man, Android is so good: multi view, downloading torrents, inexpensive extra storage, downloading YouTube videos, big screens... :D:D:D

I hope next year the nexus gets A15 processor, better camera, battery and maybe super amoled again.

Right now the hardware between the SGS3 and the nexus is too similar, and instead of buying it got updates I feel it's better to wait for next year since I will still get Android 5.0, but on the next nexus.

White Nexus 4

Very likely a fake but just to give an idea of what a full body white Nexus 4 would sort of look like.

More likely than not, the white Nexus 4 will just be the back, just like the white Galaxy Nexus. I think the half-white trend they got going sucks. If you're going to make it white, make it all white, like the S3, iPhones or the LG Optimus G.

But for fun:

This is supposedly the real one:

Looks a bit too girly for me. I like white phones, but the shiny back kinda ruins it.

Come Tuesday it's going to be two weeks with this back order nonsense. I better get this nexus 4 early this week or I'm gonna be on the hunt for a S3.

Only thing that's holding me back and I know sounds silly.... I want a black S3 but from my understanding that's not an option with att

Damn you Google with your botched launch!

I completely agree. They missed black friday, and they're on the verge of missing cyber monday.

They probably lost out on so many customers to $49 dollar deals for S3's from Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc.

Their loss.

It's probably LG that'll take the hit as Google don't care what phone you have, as long as you use their services.
