How are the battery stats? I remember seeing something about much better and very detailed battery stats during the keynote

How come you're not using the developer preview for wp8.1? I had that on my lumia 1020 and it's great. Love the camera, but I'm so tied up in the app ecosystem of ios. Android has most of the apps so I don't mind using Nexus 5 as daily driver.

I have 8.1 on my Lumia. What we don't have yet is the official firmware. The Cyan update will be packaged with the 'official' 8.1 release. That is what I am waiting for.

So we should get updates up to Lollipop or whatever?

Yep. Nothing changes when you load the preview of L. It is a factory image and as long as you don't root it/throw a custom recovery on it, the 5.0 OTA will come to your device.

New graphs and a new algorithm to give you time remaining and time til charged stats.

Basically, it just gives you a prettier picture over the last iteration.

Yeah. Looks like this.

Any idea what miscellaneous is?

I've seen screenshots of it asking for permission to use location in Maps. When an app first requests info like contacts, location, etc does Android always ask for it now? If so that's a major improvement that seems to have gone unnoticed.

Another question, please!

If you turn off Heads Up notifications, do the lock screen notifications still work?

And do the lock screen notifications turn on the screen every time a notification comes up? Lastly, can lock screen notifications be turned off, too? Are they separate options between Lockscreen notifications and Heads Up notifications?

Thanks!
