Well, my n5 is now retired. I ended up cracking the screen near the bottom a couple weeks ago, and long story short, I ended up finishing the screen off. It shattered.
Nexus 5 on T-Mobiles website is now $0 down, $16.50 a month on you bill which lowers the price $54 overall from their original price.
3 days in with the Nexus 5. I like it.
Hangouts is weird… I can't seem to receive Picture Messages (not that I get many). Anyone else experience that?
So far, the photos syncing/backup to Google Play Photos is spotty, but I could be doing something wrong.
Overall, I'm still learning, but I like it thus far.
which is still $50 more than buying it outright from google.

Is anyone still "in love" with their Nexus 5's at all?

I will say certain things are not intuitive at all and can be a turn off. I was setting up someone's n5 yesterday and they could have never done it alone. For example getting visual voicemail through Google voice is not easy for someone coming from an iPhone.
Still love it. One complaint I have is when I have it on silent, it doesn't vibrate when I get a phone call and I always miss them. Just wish there were more options to choose from.
Does anybody here feel the power button is too high? Just got to handle the N5 for the first time and I feel LG placed it a touch too high. This is especially important because it's the only way to wake the phone. That fact alone would be a deal breaker for me. Sony and Samsung do a great job with respect to the placement of their power/wake buttons.
It is definitely higher than some other models but it's not too different to get used to.
Do you find that you have to shift your hands to use the N5 after waking it? One of the worst things about the HTC One IMO is that you need to reach up to wake the phone and then shift your hand down to use it. (If you use one hand.)
Has the speaker/ volume gotten any better through the updates?

True but it is paid over two years instead of all at once. Still steep for a finance charge but it's an improvement.
