Is it possible that Google could decide to only release the LG in the west and the Huawei in Asian markets ?

Seeing as we are getting more leaks about the Lg rather than the Huawei?

I'm guessing we're getting more leaks about the Nexus 5 because more people care about it than the Huawei one.

October, but with all the leaks maybe sooner, I won't be surprised if we get the LG Nexus with the Snapdragon 620 THIS year and the Huawei with the Snapdragon 820 NEXT year.
The price has to be right yes, Nexus is about value for money not premium pricing, but the two phones will be at different prices.

I reckon the Nexus 5 will basically taking the majority of features from the G4. It makes sense.

An 808, 3GB RAM, the same camera, only with a 5.2" screen and front-facing speakers. The price is right on those components, and Google would probably subsidise it a little bit. I could see that going for £350 in the UK and between $300 and $400 in the US.

Also the Nexus usually launches later, they announce it circa November and then it takes a month to actually release. This time I reckon they will push it forward to a late Sept announcement and a release in October.

The Nexus 5 and 6 were announced in October. Also none of the tumours are pointing towards a G4 copy, in fact it was said all along it would be a new phone not based on any existing model. The 620 Cpu makes sense as it is a mid range chip but it is faster then the 808 chip.

Depends what country you're talking about...

In the UK? I ordered a Nexus 6 first day on November 18th 2014, and the delivery was supposed to be December 16th.

I ordered the Nexus 5 on the first day, 31st October, and that arrived quickly on November 4th.

The announcement dates don't really mean much to me - if you announce a phone then it takes practically 2 months to actually get it in hand? Doesn't count!

I like the front of the Huawei - and everything on the back bar looks good other than that top part. it looks very strange indeed. I can see the resemblance to that bar scanner @Fireblade

Agree about the front..very sleek. The back however... Is that black bar section actually raised from the rest of the back?

If these rumors play out as true, not a banner year for Nexus aesthetics.

This could be a rare occasion when a case significantly improves the look of a phone.

Subjective as appearance is, it's difficult to imagine a designer thinking the back works aesthetically.

Looks like 810 on the huawei according to onleaks

And something called qfuse is enabled, sounds like security. Probably an efuse like Knox.

It's real according to onleaks, and he's posted more pics - one of them makes it look a lot nicer!

Link or pics please.

Actually I confused one of the renders with the real thing, there are about 5-6 photos he's got up - https://twitter.com/OnLeaks/media

He seems pretty confident, but again only time will tell.

I don't mind that weird camera hump at all, if it means the camera ends up ridiculously good. Of course, thicker with a bigger battery would surely make more sense but let's see.

The renders look really good, hopefully it ends up like those. And the rumored 3400mAh battery too :)

Let's hope this doesn't affect rooters and rom users traditional with the Nexus. Tripping the e-Fuse and rendering your fingerprint scanner useless could be a nightmare.

That didn't really occur to me ugh. It better not, jailbreaking has zero effect on the scanner and apple pay. I was hoping it was just for the customers sake, to see if the phone has been tampered with in the past
