My point being: Apple is quick with updates. Since you were quick to throw that out there, Google isn't any better. It took nearly 6 months to fix that ridiculous memory leak.

Anyway, back on point; What has it been now? 8 months since the WiFi issue was spotted and the issue has only just now been acknowledged by Apple in iOS 8.3, but still isn't fixed? Quite a few people have been pissed off for those 8 months.

Wifi issue? What issue is this you speak of? I've had the iPhone 6 Plus since day 1 and my Wifi has been great on my device.

I don't think these two points can be stressed enough. It makes zero sense to me to have the camera protruding out and limit the battery space. They are not fooling anyone.

The same size as the LG G2 as that is nearly a completely bezelless 5.2" device, a high build quality with metal edge, the latest gorilla glass, a 2900 or 3000 may battery, snapdragon 810 with 3gb ram, 32 and 64gb storage option, sealed back, thickness of around 8mm to fit the bigger battery and make the camera flush, install the camera and sensors from either the LG G3 or G4 with sapphire lens cover, sell it in the same colours as the Nexus 5, wireless charging, latest LTE modem.
A 2k screen would also be very nice, but I guess a 1080p would do too, either IPS or OLED.

Note I said a device the same size as the G2, because devices like the Xperia Z3 are 5.2" but are for me too big. Will be excited to see what they announce now

Don't forget the possible Xperia Z4 Compact announcement tomorrow.

Well when your update breaks cellular functionality on a mobile phone the update to fix it had better be quick!!
IOS 8 is stuffed full of bugs, more then Lollipop that's for sure.

Considering I never got 8.0.1 (the fiasco update that got pulled after just a couple of hours), and I don't even recall seeing 8.1.2 or 8.1.3 (were those beta releases?), I wouldn't call that a major difference in release number or speed between the two. If anything, it shows Apple had a few more bugs to squash from 8.0 than Google from Android 5.0. But both have provided quick updates to the platforms (not to mention Google updates many apps and services from the server side and from the Play Store on a continuous basis.)

And I never had the infamous Nexus memory leak either on my Nexus 5, but I know that was a big topic on Google forums.

Yeap, I have to say its pretty sad when Mr Ive proudly states how battery life is not important to him and design is!! A big middle finger to those wanting decent battery life from the standard size iPhone I think.
NO! screw the pathetic ridiculous not needed in anyway thin as a human hair design, give a device an amazing trouser busting extra 2 to 3mm in thickness so we can have flush camera lenses and decent battery's...

Yeah Cook is a suitably ruthless and also grounded CEO, but I would love to personally ask Ive just why he felt it necessary to remove the DVD drive from the iMac so it could be, thinner..... IT'S A DESKTOP COMPUTER!!!
And unsurprisingly we have reports of the 5k iMac throttling due to overheating..

One of my big hopes is that they do a lot with the battery. Like, maybe even consider going too far in terms of battery capacity.

When is the last time anyone said that battery life is excessive, or this phone is too thick? Never. Google always errs on the side of, "Yeah, this should be enough." I love my Nexus 6 but the experience would be completely transformed if I didn't have to babysit my phone just to get it through a day.

If the Droid Turbo can fit 4,000 mAh on a 5.2" phone with this form factor, Google should shoot for at least that on the 5.2" Nexus M.

I'm all for 4,500 mAh on the 5.2" and 5,500 mAh on the 5.7".

DVD's and CD's were already an obsolete technology when Apple removed them. They took up a lot of space and with memory cards, SSD's and streaming media taking over, allowing for everyone to create smaller and lighter laptops and desktops (not just Apple), it was the right thing to do. Besides, Apple knew you could just add on a cheap external drive if you really wanted to use a CD.

I'd be pumped for a 5.7" sized Nexus M phone this Fall.

If they can keep the bezels super slim like the G3 it could actually have a smaller footprint then the iPhone 6 Plus.

Just keep the AMOLED display. I am no fan of the washed out and poor viewing angles that LG make.

Google I/O will preview Android "M" but they have never ever released Nexus phone info at I/O. The phone has always been a Fall release. Usually October announcement, and November release.

Yeah.. shame... I just had to google the Nexus 5 announcement as I couldn't remember, but they announced it in October after months of speculation and rumour, so I can only hope they do the same this year and they make a 5.2" device the same size as the G2 was.

I wonder, if they do go down the 2 device route, will they be tempted to add a pen to a phablet device?

We'll see. I liked my Nexus 5 but if LG is making it again, i hope they improve a few things before i buy another one. And it has to be 5.2".

5.7" is a no go for me but to be honest i wont be looking for one for me. Im pretty happy with my GS6. The only real draw is the faster OS updates.

These rumors sound fairly plausible, we have already heard that Huawei is building a Nexus phone, a 5.7-inch monster with code name Bullhead. The new phone rumor is for another LG built Nexus device. Clocking in with a 5.2-inch display, the LG Angler looks like it may be fairly similar to the LG G4 with the Snapdragon 808 SoC. Speculation is early on this one though, specs are bound to change, and many components have not been chosen yet. With the general idea being that this LG phone is the proper successor to the Nexus 5, we do not expect top rung specs, just an overall solid experience.
