First full day with it and I will spare you guys from another long and likely boring detailed breakdown.
I'll only say I don't think this is a keeper. While the software flies, I find it just a hair too bare bones. I miss the quick and reliable camera experience (pictures in daylight are absolutely terrific though). I miss the little touchwiz tweaks like direct access to toggles. Or the easier and faster gallery app versus the painfully slow photos app. There are more examples I can't think of. Little things.
I also miss the size of my s6. The 6p is manageable, but it's no question very big. And tall to be more specific.
Where it wins though is the software speed, the finger print scanner (I'm really warming up to the backside scanner. It feels surprisingly natural there), and the large glorious screen. Doing anything on the screen is a joy. But it's all this enough to keep me? I don't believe so.
Still not convinced.
And as rumors gear up for the s7, the 6p drops further into the shadows for me. I can't help but feel like I'm not really getting my $600 worth.
