Just a handheld spotlight, Cookie

I went to Home Depot and bought a rechargable handheld spotlight... works like a charm! I try not do over-do the light-painting. If you paint too much it typically turns out looking very un-natural.

Thanks!

Another sunset in Africa (Ruaha River NP, Tanzania, 6/30/06).

The silhouetted thicker looking 'tree' is actually some sort of large cactus-family thing. It has its blooms up at the tips beyond the reach of giraffes...

Canon A80, darkened a smidge. It wasn't quite this late in twilight, but it was already 15 minutes after the time where guests are not supposed to walk around camp without an escort due to potentially hazardous local wildlife, such as this vistor that was standing next to our cabin around 15 minutes earlier.

Misam, very nice!

There's something about having both a natural light source, and an artificial one, in a composition, that, to me, makes for interesting shots. Nice photos here by many!
