A lot of you seem to have a very low opinion of the iPhone... So as the second post in this thread states... Go and buy a note 7. End of discussion

iPhone 7 is not out yet... But since the Gear S3 announcement it's getting more likely for me to buy the Note 7... Still waiting to see if they have multi window and Apple Pencil support. Which I doubt it

Wacom is introducing a new pen shortly. May be a partial solution if it turns out tomorrow that the 7+ doesn't support the pencil. I'll definitely be getting one then: http://www.wacom.com/en-gb/products...DR-316602-Ongoing-Email-PA-Stylus-Omni+launch
The battery issues have put me off the Note 7 tbh. Not keen on switching back to android either.

Thanks for this information.. With the Note 7 blowing up problems I'm going to see if Apple surprises me tommrow. Which I doubt it. I will see if this stylus solves my problems

I doubt it will. It looks like just another generic "active" capacitive stylus with poor accuracy and responsiveness, just like all the different brands that have released them over the years. Amazed they are still releasing these things now that Pencil exists and is so so much better.

Thing is that these work on everything, the Pencil doesn't.

The tiny fraction of devices catching fire with no injuries which have been recalled is putting you of a device?...iPhones have been known to catch fire as well too you know.

Not really as part of just normal use and due to a manufacturer defect of some sort that warranted full stoppage of sales of a brand new device and a recall of those that have been sold so far.

0.0014% of devices sold had a problem, but it was something Samsung had to do not because it was on anything like a large scale but as soon as people hear fire it would of killed sales so they had to nip it in the bud fast. It's not something i would base my buying choices on.

You might not, someone else might as different things play different roles to different degrees for different people. It's certainly not a non-issue.

In any case, it's not really what the thread is about.

The iPhone 7 looks pretty underwhelming. Especially if you don't get the Plus model with dual cameras, you will be stuck with the smaller one without the flagship feature. The standout feature would be it comes in a "SPACE BLUE variant" WTF? The Note 7 has caught my eye and the only way Apple will get my money is that they make iPhone 7 support the apple pencil and that it has true multi tasking, not this phony app switching gimmick. Apple has really taken us for granted with the lack of innovative features. I know the Apple loyalist will say, "Why you need a waterproof phone? don't go swimming with your phone", "why you need a stylus? just use your pinky." "why do you need split view on an iPhone? just buy another iPhone."

I prefer switching apps with 3D Touch, as fast and can use the full screen.

Have fun with your Marshmallow Note 7.

There have been 35 cases so far, but we dont know the extent of it, we dont know how many of the 2 million sold have the potential to catch fire. That is what Samsung hasnt said and im guessing thats a pretty large number, enough to warrant this recall.

Don't know why you're worried, everyone will buy it anyway.

Yes, you can't buy the Note 7 in stores. You haven't been paying attention?

Oh and I thought iris scanner would be a gimic, but it works faster than the fingerprint scanner. I turn my phone on, and before I know it, it's unlocked and I haven't done anything except look at it lol

Huh! Faster, the phone unlocks as you press your tumb on it to take it from whatever surface or pocket it was on, even in total darkness and without even being close to you... You're statement is utter BS.

I just played with the note 7 at Best Buy, both my wife and I want one. She loved it until I told her that her Apple Watch wouldn't work and then she said never mind. Lol.

I'm still debating, no way Apple tops it in hardware, that bad boy looks better and feels better in hand. Plus size is really manageable.

I'm just unsure I want to switch again, I really like the apps are on iOS And not sure I want to change again.

Samsung did an excellent job with this to make me even consider going back to android again.

Yet, it does top it in hardware, but hey whatever pleases you I guess.

Umm, yes, In the dark as well. If you do some research on how it works, you will know. I just tested it again, in. total. darkness. So no, not BS

I can see it being a good addition if it unlocks it before your finger gets to the button, but it can't replace it. I'm guessing it doesn't work through mirrored sunglasses?
Also, curious, do you find yourself opening your eyes wider for it to work, wonder if you'd look like you've seen some surprising info on your phone all the time :D

Did Apple read my thread? Please let this be the case. If so I will ditch my plans to get the note 7

Yes, clearly Apple read your thread and was moved... the world owes you a debt of gratitude

Nice sarcasm, I guess you missed mine... But if Apple Pencil is supported all the people on this thread that said that was a dumb idea would now beating crow
[doublepost=1473255933][/doublepost]All they need is slide over, split view and PIP support and the prophecy will be complete

MR at the keynote just spoke to a source who said Apple Pencil support will indeed be included with iPhone 7+. Unconfirmed for 7.
